So the first thing we see is the brand new featured content, so some of the more popular content in here, if I go to the left quickly. First, if I go over to the settings just to confirm that, if I go down into about, we can see this version 8.4.1. One is the latest version as of the 7th of March 2024, and the other thing I recommend going in here if you want to, is, if you go over to uh video, you can actually turn off these previews.
So I’m going to do that just so when you’re browsing around when you’re trying to check out things, I don’t really want to see a preview in the background as first see that potentially SS down device and really just gets in the way when you’re trying to Find something so I’ll turn that off and also you get the option to auto start playback once the preview ends again, I’m going to turn that off let go back and also in the parental controls you can set that if you want to, if you are maybe Going to be sharing this device with um, younger kids or miners, you can limit the content. That’S all good! Let’S go back okay, so we are currently in the home section. Let’S stay there, so we saw the featured content. Then you have recommended content.
So here we see some of the more popular content, more recommended content, so for a quick test. Look at um the man. Let’S click on that when you click on something you get to see, who directed the content, who it’s starring, the age rating, the genre and how long it is, let’s click on play – and this is the crazy thing guys I’m playing this content and, as you can See in a couple of seconds, we are straight in there and no interruptions, no popups, nothing interrupting our viewing pleasure. We are straight into the content. I can go back that was in recommended. Then your recommended channels. I will go through the channel sections in just a second, but let’s go through the main list.
Leaving soon basically shows you some of the cont and that’s leaving the platform as they make way for newer content. Then you got some uh sci-fi stuff Nostalgia black Cinema. Recently, added yeah: this is what I’m saying so we can see some of the new stuff.
That’S been added to the platform here, for example, we have um this thing here: 2 hours and 6 minutes sci-fi, let’s click on play and in less than five 4 3. 2. 1. We are into that content, no interruptions and we can really go ahead and enjoy all of this content: 100 % official 100 % legal and that’s working great. I can fold that a bit that’s working flawlessly, let’s go back, then you got Thrillers horror, um, something different, other content, other stuff lots of different things. Let’S go to the left. Okay! So let’s now go over to networks, and here you can see guys lots of different Networks in here.
So if I’m interested in content from filmrise, I can click on that, and this will then show me all of the content from that particular Network and again just a a superb library of content. That’S available! Let’S go back. Let’S have a look at the live TV, because that was one of the areas that was recently revamped.
I was really impressed with the amount of content that you can get in here, especially with a fully working program guide. So, let’s click on that and you can see guys now we have a fully working progr program guide. I can see exactly what’s on now.
What’S coming up next, I get to see lots of different sports content, lots of different sports channels, all categorized all properly sorted out in this massive list of channels that we can enjoy on all of our devices. That’S working great! Let’S look at this Astros at the Red. Sox click on that.
Just to show you even that the live content is working absolutely flawlessly as well. Let’S go back so overall guys. I really am impressed with this latest update to tub TV, as you can see, they’ve completely revamped. The application give it a new color theme. They’Ve changed some of the layout, but the main thing is the sheare volume of content.
With this latest update as you’ve seen today, they really have added lots and lots of content across movies TV shows and, as you saw with the live TV content, there really is a vast library of live TV channels all with that fully working program guide. So if you’re interested in news, uh Sports drama comedy, I’m sure you’ll be able to find some live content that you can enjoy and to get all of that in an application that doesn’t require any kind of registration, no usernames, no passwords.
