Samsung’S latest Galaxy s24 series is here and it’s more powerful and more durable than ever. Let’S get into what you can expect from some of Samsung’s first Party Galaxy s24 cases. The first case is, quite frankly, the simplest one. There’S no mistaking Samsung silicone case for the Galaxy s24 series for anything more than it is a basic bumper to protect your investment from drops and bumps. That said, the silicone case feels like the perfect compliment to Samsung’s tough new material, because it’s adding a little bit of protection to the things that glass and aluminum aren’t always the best against. On top of the simple, flexible design. The silicone case is one of the easiest to match to Samsung’s new colors for the Galaxy s24 series, it’s available in black, yellow, Violet and gray to match the four Titanium or non- titanium finishes of the Galaxy s24 series and it’s sure to have a whole slate Of other complimentary colors in the weeks and months to come, no matter which color you choose.
However, it’s sure to come with a green thumbs up Samsung is leaning heavily into its eco-friendly material materals this year, using UL certified post consumer silicone in all of its cases. The final figure on recycled materials will vary from case to case, but in the case of the silicone bumper, it’s right around 32 %, sure it’s a number that could be a little bit higher in the future. But for now it’s nice to see Samsung take a little bit of initiative and try to use a little bit less vergin material in its cases. If you decide that the Galaxy s24 silicone case is the one for you, we expect it to cost somewhere around $ 30. It’S not a bad price and it keeps it right in line with the previous generation, making it a great simple, flexible case. That is easy to swap in and out and adds just a little bit of protection.
If you decide Samsung silicone case is a little too simple for you and you want to add a little more functionality to your setup. Why not add a strap Samsung’s? Silicone grip case is almost the same as its base silicone case, but it adds a built-in strap to the back pound sure you can probably hold the smaller 6.2 in Samsung Galaxy s24 in one hand, and be just fine, but now that the s24 plus is at 6.7 in and the s24 ultra remains at 6.8 in they’re a little bit tougher to manage with one hand, especially when you whip out the S Pen. But it’s a good start considering all of the movein parts, just like the basic silicone case. The silicone grip case should come in several matching color options for all four Galaxy: s24 colors. If you want a little more flare for your setup, you can pick up custom straps for the silicone grip case, including Phantoms, like Marvel. The Simpsons and Disney should Samsung keep its pricing consistent. The silicone grip case should come in right around $ 40, while the other custom straps, you can add, should be somewhere in the neighborhood of $ 20 a piece up.
Next, I I might be showing my age with a reference to Inspector Gadget a little bit, but there’s not really a better way to introduce Samsung’s Gadget case for the s24 series you don’t have to shout go, go gadget every time you swap a piece in or Out, but it kind of gives you an idea of how the case Works. Essentially. Samsung’S Gadget case for the Galaxy s24 series is a stiff, polycarbonate frame with a mounting point on the back that you can swap different accessories in and out.
It kind of feels like the flare you used to see on waiters and waitresses back at TGI Friday, which again dating myself with a reference, but you kind of get the idea. Samsung has different button-shaped accessories. It calls TOS, which are essentially little characters. You can strap onto the back of your phone, it has Integrations with bands like BTS bands like BTS or other Samsung Partners like Disney and National Geographic, but they’re far from the only accessory. You can choose. They weren’t present during our time with the devices, but Samsung has a number of other gadgets that you can add to the gadget case. It offers rings that fold out from the case to prop up your phone on the go: a slim card reader that looks like R2-D2 from Star Wars and even a camera grip tripod that essentially turns your phone into a mini SLR camera.
We’Re definitely the most interested in that camera grip, but it’ll take a little longer to get our hands on one. Once we have actual Galaxy s24 cases in hand, Inspector Gadget might be able to change accessories faster, but Samsung has enough flexibility that you could probably give the inspector a run for his money. Just be ready to spend a little bit of extra money to get the entire Suite of accessories ready to go. We’Re expecting the case itself to cost somewhere around $ 45, but the additional accessories like TOS buttons, straps and the camera grip will cost anywhere from $ 10 to $ 45. The last Samsung Galaxy s24 case that we got to spend extended time with is a clever one. It was actually introduced alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z, flip 5 series, and it’s called the suitcase on top of having perhaps the best name for a case.
It adds the flexibility to change your lock screen without ever going into a menu or fixing a setting. Essentially, the suitcase it’s itself is a simple bumper that goes around the edges of your aluminum or titanium frame and has no back panel. Instead, you get to pick and choose the back panel and swap one in and out anytime. You please, each of Samsung’s interchangeable suitcase panels carries an NFC chip inside what that allows it to do is download the lock screen that coordinates with your back panel and automatically apply it. What that means is, as soon as you put the back panel in you might get an erupting volcano from National Geographic cartoon dinosaur running across the back or a high fashioned design from any number of designers.
Of course, as soon as you take the panel out, your lock screen will default back to what you had it set as previously, which means you can start all over again with a new panel. If you’re ready to get customizing, the suitcase itself should cost around $ 45, while each different interchangeable back will cost somewhere $ 15 to $ 20 neighborhood. Now, if you’ve been around the Samsung Galaxy S Series long enough, you know there’s a couple long-standing cases that we didn’t mention and for the most part it’s just because we didn’t get a chance to go Hands-On with them during our time with with the devices.
The first one you probably noticed was missing was the SV wallet case, which is a personal favorite of mine. It not only acts as a little folio that covers both the front and back of your display, but it adds a couple card slots to make it a little easier to carry in your pocket. After all, with phones getting bigger.
The last thing you want to do is take up more pocket space with a dedicated wallet. What really sets the svw wallet apart is that it has a small window on the front, so you can still check the time. Get quick notifications as well as easy access to the weather. We have had confirmation that the s24 series will eventually get the SV wallet case. We’Ll just have to be a little patient in the meantime. On the other hand, we didn’t see a leather case for any of the Galaxy s24 models, at least not a first-party one and we’re not really expecting to either moving away from animal-based materials has gained in popularity over the last year with apple shifting from leather to Fine woven and now Samsung seems to be doing the same in getting rid of leather altogether. If you do still want a leather case for your Samsung Galaxy s24, you can probably find an option from other brands like dbrand or belroy, but you’ll have to kind of wait and see what color options look like and when it’ll be available.
