Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Samsung’s transparent Micro LED could change how we see the world.”.
It’S not a major Tech trade show without talking about some new innovation for Samsung’s powerful displays, whether we’re talking qleds, oleds or even its premium line of micro, LED TVs and right now we’re going to focus on the last in that list. This year, at CES, Samsung introduced a new, transparent line of microed TVs, which basically takes the best of what it has to offer and puts a clear pane of glass in front of it. That almost works like a second display. Honestly, you’re probably not going to see something like Samsung’s, transparent, microed TV in your house. Unless you have a ton of money to throw around on your TV, but where you might see it a little more frequently is in more commercial applications.

Let’S say if you’re in a box watching a football game you’ll be able to see right through the pane of glass. So you can still see the action on the field, but then the transparent micro LED layer kicks in and actually gives the team a way to project stats, replay, highlights light and, unfortunately, show you ads outside of the ads. It seems like a really good way to deepen your immersion in a sporting event.
