Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “THIS is the BEST Android phone of 2023…”.
It’S been a long and busy year for smartphones and after testing all of the biggest and best of 2023. We have two brand new Awards to hand out it’s time for our Readers Choice and I coveted editor’s Choice a what you know the deal by now. We created a short list of some of the biggest and best phones of the year, which spans a lot of price points or as many price points as possible. We’Ve also taken into account a number of key criteria, including performance battery life, the camera durability, value for money and a lot of the intang extras, like the warranty software support length and after sales care support to come up with our phone short list. Now that’s out the way, though, our winner of Android authorities, editor’s Choice. Phone of the year of 2023 is drum roll.
The Google pixel8 pro. That means that Google has actually cemented a hatrick of wins, having earned our coveted 2021 and 2022 Awards with the pixel 6. Pro and the pixel 7 Pro respectively, Google may be charging an extra $ 100 over its predecessor, but the pixel Pro earned its Flagship tier price tag with refinements to the pixel aesthetic, and our extensive testing also showed clear improvements to its custom, tensor chipset. What’S more, it’ll only get better throughout the full s years of its guaranteed support window, during which time it’ll receive software updates security, patches and Google’s patented feature drops the truest realization of Google’s smartphone dreams that we’ve seen today. The pixel8 pro is a worthy winner of our editor’s choice. Phone of the Year award. However, though, unlike in 2022, where the pixel 7 Pro was a runaway success story with a Lon share of the vote, the pixel 8 Pro won by just one vote. Yes, one! So which phone narrowly missed out this time? Well, that honor belongs to the OnePlus open, which was narrowly pipped to the title. With our Readers Choice Award for 2023, you might have actually voted in one of our polls across YouTube: Twitter, Instagram, threads and Android authority.com over the last few weeks to figure out which you think is the best phone of the year after several voting rounds.
The final Duo were found to be the Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra and Google’s pixel 8. Pro, there’s absolutely no doubt that these were Far and Away the most popular in our 32 phone short list, and while there are excellent devices worth their asking price, there can only be one winner and that honor deservedly belongs to drum roll. The Samsung Galaxy s23.
Ultra L Car editor’s Choice Award, it was a close- run contest the pixel8 pro pushed the s23 ultra all the way to the final hurdle, but fell just short in that final vote. Congratulations to Samsung the s23 ultra is an epic phone that has improved upon all of its predecessors, and it deserves all of the accolades from everything to the the camera to the battery life to the performance and everything else in between.
