50 Gadgets and Tech Gifts Under $50

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “50 Gadgets and Tech Gifts Under $50”.
Hey everyone Travis here and it’s that time of year again for another 50 under 50, 50 under 50, is a running series on the channel that we’ve had for the last several years, and I wanted to do it again this year. So let’s get right into it! Now this list was curated by Stevie and I and it’s things that are practical and not so practical, a lot of great stocking, stuffers or small gift ideas for the holidays and as of this video being uploaded, we will have 9 days till Christmas. So it will give people a little bit of time to be able to grab these things if they’re interested. Of course, everything that I’m talking about in this article will be linked Down Below in the video description, so find everything down below and as we are wrapping up the year, I am going to be doing a favorite tech of 2023 so make sure to subscribe and Hit the Bell, so you don’t miss that first things first on this list is an air tag and I love these things. I did mention it in my previous video, which was essentially a what’s in my tech bag.

Video and I rely on these things for my keys, my backpack, my car and they’re – really a set it and forget it type device and really hope that you don’t really need to use it. But if you need to it will help you out, and you can get one of these on Amazon for 27 bucks next up is an anchor 313 wireless charging stand which can be really convenient to have on your desk, just to be able to throw your phone On there, without having to worry about any cables and for 19 bucks, this is a pretty good deal. This is the iFix, it makeo, Precision, screwdriver kit and it’s $ 40 on Amazon, and let me tell you when you buy one of these you’ll basically use it forever on repairing any sort of tech item, and I think it’s a great gift now here we have The Nordic leather desk mat and it’s also a cable organizer. So not only can It keep your desk clean by having that mat laid out, so you can put your laptop keyboard mouse tablet or phone on that, but it also has loops on the end to where you could run the cabl through to keep things nice and Tidy next up is the ankor Nano Pro. This is a 20 W charger in the same size as Apple’s 5w charger, and it has USBC for 14 bucks earlier this year, when Apple announced the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro, they also eliminated leather cases across the board and if you’re looking for a replacement.

For that here’s a wilin leather case going back several generations of iPhone for 45 bucks. Now this is something that I’ve never seen before and I’m surprised because I’m such a clean freak. This is the ytt touchscreen cleaner, but it is a bottle that also has on the side a bar of microfiber, so you can clean your device directly with it and for 12 bucks.

I think this is a must have something that I really didn’t get into until this year is air purifying my apartment, and this is a $ 40 mini air purifier from Pure enrichment and I think, for a small room or small office. This would be perfect to keep that air that you’re working in nice and clean, something that was super big that I didn’t get into when I was younger, was a tamagachi and you can grab one of those for 20 bucks on Amazon. If you want a little device to have fun with something that I think someone could get their parents as a little bit of a throwback, laugh or if they wanted it on their desk as a cool item, is this Pac-Man arcade game, but it’s only 6 in So it’s like a little tiny game and, and it’s 42 bucks on Amazon – I don’t think anybody can have enough lamps in their life, and this is the: U light, Sunset lamp, which offers a very cool looking light aesthetic, and it could be very interesting for making Content with – and it’s 18 bucks on Amazon now for those of you that are a gamer or they have gamer friends, this 8bit do ultimate. Wired controller is an awesome controller for $ 20 and it works on Windows, Android or Raspberry Pi, and I think it would be a perfect companion to those PC Gamers.

50 Gadgets and Tech Gifts Under $50

Another perfect companion to those PC Gamers is a good microphone and here’s the Blue Snowball ice, which I personally have it’s a great sounding microphone and much better than a headset, and This is 40 bucks. Now, if you’ve got a minimal aesthetic going on in your place, especially with light tone, wood – and you want to maintain that this is a cool looking LED alarm clock – that’s 22 bucks on Amazon now for those of you that want to digitally take notes, but don’t Want to waste paper: this is the rocket book, reusable notebook and I think for anybody, that’s really into journaling or taking notes physically, which is ultimately better, is going to really dig this for 37 bucks. Most people worry about security cameras on the outdoors, but don’t really worry about the indoors, and this yui camera is going to be a great addition to a security system or, if you don’t even have one like you’re in an apartment or a dorm room. This would be a great addition for $ 43.

50 Gadgets and Tech Gifts Under $50

Now I was quite surprised to see how cheap these have gotten over time, but this is the wise, smart scale. It’S a digital scale that pairs directly to an app on your phone, so you could track Weight and it’s 27 bucks on Amazon. It seems like in 2023, what is old is new again and film has come back in a really big way. This is a Kodak film camera.

50 Gadgets and Tech Gifts Under $50

It would be a great thing to get for someone that wants to get into that kind of thing, and it’s $ 24. On Amazon, these two items are essentially membership, so I’m going to combine them into one first thing is Xbox game pass ultimate, which covers cloud gaming, Xbox gaming and PC gaming, that’s 14 bucks for 1 month or 44 for 3 months, and then Nintendo switch online for $ 20, which is for a year now, regardless, if you’re on Mac, PC Linux or if you would just want a gaming mouse. This is the Razer Death Adder essential, and it’s it’s $ 24 and, to be honest, it’s a really well-built Mouse for that price.

Next up is the anything speaker and you basically put this device on top of something and it becomes a speaker which is similar technology to Bone conducting headphones. This is a very interesting product. I think it’s more of a funny thing than anything else, but if someone wanted to stick this onto a coffee mug and make a Bluetooth speaker out of it, they could next up is a smart plug, and this one is from TP Link.

You can connect your Christmas tree to this and use Siri to control it, and it’s only $ 10, if you’ve ever been in the instant, where you wanted to use your Bluetooth headphones like airpods, on an infotainment system on a plane. Let’S say that doesn’t have Bluetooth. You can with this dongle, this is the 12 South airfly SE, and on one side it has a 3.5 mm Jack and it has a little bit of a dongle part that comes off the end, but it basically adds Bluetooth to a non-bluetooth device for 35 bucks. Now this product, I thought, was actually pretty cool, it’s the ankor 511 2in1 portable charger, which is not only a battery bank, but it’s also a USBC power adapter.

This is super super convenient when traveling, so you don’t have to carry two separate devices: a power bank and a power adapter. Now whether you got a new Mac Mini or a PC for Christmas or you’re, just trying to redo your setup and keep the cost low. This Logitech keyboard and mouse bundle – that’s under $ 50 is going to do the trick next up, something that might be a little dangerous. This is the Cozy kitten paw warmer and it is a hand warmer and a battery Bank in one – and I don’t know if a hand warmer and Battery Bank built into the same device is a good idea, but for 40 bucks this can get two different things Done speaking of warming things up, this is a coffee, mug warmer and I’ve definitely had my fair share of times where I pull my espresso shot and leave it and come back later to it being cold and for 27 bucks. This has a cool aesthetic that can live on your desk.

I think anybody can use a bluetoo speaker whether they’re working in the garage or outside, or they want one at their desk. This is the anchor sound Core 2 and for 28 bucks. It’S a really good deal.

Another charging related device. Is this car charger from ankor, but you might ask: why would you need a car charger if, if most newer cars have USB ports – and this thing is way faster, it’s 67 watts and it has three ports. Two USBC one usba, and this is so much faster than the 5 wat ports that are in my car next up for those of you that have a PC but don’t have Wi-Fi 6, you can either get a TPL link, USB adapter or a PCI add-in card To give you that much better wi-fi the USB adapter here is 50 and the addin PCI card is 37. I actually did the same thing thing where I replaced the onboard Wi-Fi with the one on my motherboard with a pcie add-in card. That’S Wi-Fi 6, and it’s so much faster now for those of you that stare at screens for hours on end, whether it be a laptop, desktop tablet or phone, it might be a good idea to wear blue blockers, and these from livo is a two pack for 17 bucks now one thing I’ve noticed working in video production is the fact that SD cards tend to run away and no matter how hard I try to convince them, they still go missing, and this 128 gig SanDisk Extreme, is only 14 bucks. Now, if you wanted to get into the Philips Hue ecosystem, but didn’t want to have to worry about the bridge, they now have lights that have Bluetooth directly built in these are the larger BR30.

But this is a two- pack of the dimmable white LED bulbs, and this is 35 bucks. Now, as I said earlier, you can never get enough lamps. The other one I mentioned is a little bit more about aesthetic. This is more about function. This is an LED floor lamp for 50 bucks. Now we are getting into that colder time of year, but this is a really cool, looking space heater for $ 25.

Now, for those Halo fans out there here is a master chief phone SLC controller holder for 36 bucks. Now I mentioned this in my previous video about what was in my tech bag and I carry a flash drive with me, mostly, if not all the time. I still find flash drives to be very useful. This one is super cool, though it is a Samsung, 256 gig USBC flash drive, and I personally use this for capturing gameplay on the PS5. Now this could be great for someone that wants to get into making music and it’s a midi keyboard and it’s only $ 39 now this could be very cool for the PlayStation fan that you know it is the PlayStation symbols light – and I didn’t even know this – This thing reacts to sound, obviously it lights up and it’s powered by batteries, but I did not realize that it’s reactive to sound and it’s 25 bucks now something that I think could add to someone’s nighttime vibe to their setup is a nightlight. This is the lake cute cat and it’s 17 bucks on Amazon next up is an item that I use all the time.

This is the N usba to USBC adapter, and you get two of them for eight bucks. This is perfect for anybody that has a USBC device like an iPhone, an iPad or a Mac, and they want to connect a device – that’s usba, to a USBC Port, something that I realized. The other day that I actually played with is the automatone, and this thing is hilarious. They call it the Japanese electronic musical instrument, portable music synthesizer from Japan, and this thing is awesome. It’S basically a music synthesizer and it really changes the sounds on the top. All the way to the bottom and for 40 bucks, it could be some good fun. Next up is the Xbox core controller. This one is in black and it’s 45 bucks.

This is essential for anybody. That’S gaming on Windows, on Xbox or if they’re gaming, on Mac or iOS, now that those controllers are supported. Next up is a gaming headset, and this one is the hyperx cloud Stinger 2, and if you have someone that you know that hasn’t bought a new headset in several years, they might be due for a new one. Now something that T found that I thought was utterly hilarious is a protective magsafe wallet made by Pelican.

Personally, I rock the magsafe wallet on the back of my phone, and I find it to be very convenient. This one takes it to the next level. This one is made like a Pelican case and looks to be a lot more sturdy and enclosed, and it’s 40 bucks.

Next, we have a laptop stand from Wix gear, and this has a very minimal aesthetic to be able to go along with a very simple setup, whether you have a MacBook Air or a MacBook Pro or even a PC. This is a very cool. Looking stand for $ 18 now another essential item that I use all the time is this anchor 10t long USBC to USBC cable.

This cable supports up to 100 WTS and it’s only $ 12, but I use this all the time to charge my PlayStation controllers across the room to my couch, another Apple product that I think is underrated, but has made a comeback in the last couple years. Is a set of wired ear pods? Now these ear pods come in three flavors, a USBC, a lightning and a standard 3.5, and I still think it’s very essential to carry a backup pair of headphones, whether your Bluetooth once died or you don’t even want to rely on a set of bluetooth headphones. These are really great for 19 bucks.

Next up is this wired set of overear Sony headphones. These are only $ 17 and they make a great addition to a primary set of headphones as a backup. Last up on this list is the Raspberry Pi 4, and if anybody wants to get into development coding or building their own computer, this is really cool.

Now keep in mind. This is only the board and it doesn’t have a power supply or an SD card to boot, your OS off of or a case. But if you were looking to add in a power supply, those are only $ 8 and if you wanted to add a cheap case, those are only five. So that’s been my 2023 50 under 50 about 9 days before Christmas. Hopefully, you found some of these gifts to be interesting or you might get one for yourself. Thank you so much for watching this is Travis and have a great night.
