So what if that Snapdragon X Elite was already hitting to be more powerful than pretty much anything else out there? As yes, we kick off day, one of the Snapdragon Summit 2023 and let’s just say that Snapdragon, hn3 and Snapdragon X Elite are already looking too good. Samsung seems to be gearing up to do a lot of AI in X next galaxies and you guessed it right. Apple has just announced an event that could be all about the Mac coming in a few weeks. I’M him vaa it’s day, one of Snapdragon Summit 2023 and trust me. A lot has already exceeded our expectations. This is p out daily sponsored by qualcom Technologies Inc. The official news today are actually going to be segmented in two.
So, let’s start with apple since the company has just announced a new event for later this month. I know exactly an hour before the Snapdragon Summit keynote went live. The company has revealed its second fall event event for 2023, scheduled on Monday October 30th, at 5:00 p.m.
Pacific time. This event will be entirely online and it seems the focus is on the Mac. Apple’S event website confirms this: with a morphing logo, from the Apple icon to the Mac, finder symbol.
Like previous events, it will be pre-recorded and lack an in-person audience. Now. There’S been recent ambiguity in Mac rumors, but possibilities include a refresh of the 24-in iMac, which currently is still running the M1 Apple silicon and uh, potentially updates to the 13 14th and 16in MacBook Pros with new Chips. The nature of these chips, whether M3 series or others, remains unclear, though this event is full of mystery.
Due to the Mac lineup’s current uncertainty, don’t worry more. Details are expected to emerge as the date approaches. I mean the rumors had all said to wait until next year, so this is a gain. I mean Apple will live stream the event on its website YouTube and also Apple TV in in its application, so yeah stay tuned because, of course, we’ll cover. What comes out of that day? The OnePlus 12 seems voice to deliver an enhanced smartphone experience. Rumors suggest an announcement either on December or January, and it’s still unclear. If it’s going to be exclusive to China at first, like they’ve done in previous years, here’s the thing, though I do wish that, regardless, if that happens in China or globally, I wanted to follow on the Oppo find. 6 Pros design. As we all know, during Google recent launch event for the pixel 8 and 8 Pro, a strong emphasis was placed on the AI features of these smartphones and uh. Well, it is now reported that Sammy doesn’t want to be left behind. It’S reported that the company’s upcoming Galaxy s24 series is set to be acclaimed as the smartest AI phones ever surpassing. The AI capabilities of Google’s pixel lineup I’d love to see that these new Samsung devices are expected to introduce features that will be similar to Advanced AI models like chat, GPT and Google’s spard users will be able to generate content and stories by providing a few keywords Indicating a significant leap in AI creativity.
The report also mentions that the company has integrated additional AI functionalities, including text to image generative AI, which was previously disclosed during an introduction of the xos 2400 chipset. That will power at least some of the variants of the s24 series in select markets. The enhanced speak toex capabilities through AI is also on the horizon and most notably, the report claims that Samsung digital assistant wait for it sit down. Bixby long overshadowed by its competitors is slated to engage in more humanlike and smarter conversations with users thanks to AI integration. I know now surprisingly, Bixby, despite its relatively low profile, appears set to make substantial comeback, as it introduces AI Innovations in the near future, but so has it done so in the past, not sure.
I trust that but anyways. I would like to see what they add in cool AI tools, particularly for the camera cuz. That’S the only way to compete with Google in addition to what the Google Assistant does, but then again, why compete if you’ve already got the Google assistant on the phone and finally for the hottest news today, let’s talk about the Snapdragon keynote cuz, there was a lot Day, one was kicked off with qualcom president and CEO Cristiano Aman, giving us an overview of what to expect from platforms fully optimized for generative AI, on device to the progress of its major Partnerships with meta, Microsoft, Lenovo, xiaomi and others to the company’s custom.

That said today is mostly the tip of the iceberg, with announcements cuz, it’s very extensive. It started with the new Snapdragon X Elite and how it’ll revolutionize the PC through the new Orion CPU, which is set to be twice as fast as the competition at 13 of the power and four point times faster AI performance, just to name a few. All the performance, Graphics, we saw were insane showing better numbers than even the M2 Max.
Then we got to see the Snapdragon H, gen3, built for on device on demand, generative AI experiences producing the world’s fastest AI image generation on mobile at less than one 1. Second, we’re talking a crazy 10 plus billion parameters running on device allowing you to not need to rely on the cloud. Maybe the coolest example was being able to zoom out of a photo and have the chip generate. The rest of the image locally xiaomi then announced that they’re the first to launch the 14 series running the Snapdragon AG gen 3. In addition to all that, it’ll be able to do now. Last but not least, we did get an introduction to the Qualcomm S7 PRO Sound platform which brings Snapdragon sound to new levels.
