The Brightest OLED I've Seen...

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The Brightest OLED I’ve Seen…”.
Um, I’m talking to you, you want to clap OLED Evo G3. I have been a fan of OLED displays from LG for a very long time dating back to all types of collaborations. We’Ve done the dark, blacks, these saturated colors, [ Applause ]; yes, [ Applause, ]! Yes, yes, [ Applause ], my God. However, if there has ever been a knock on OLED displays, it’s been brightness and now with the new generation, they have upped the brightness substantially LG claims.

The Brightest OLED I've Seen...

This is the best OLED OLED champion of champions, and it’s on the 10-year anniversary of OLED, as well as you can see on the box over here, 10 years check the warranty five years. This is the 77 inch model, brightness booster Max bringing up to 70 percent brighter display 70. I mean the legitimate blast mode.

That is a sharp knife wow now. The other exciting thing that LG has here is their game modes with extremely low latency. Extremely low input lag, imagine the gaming setup. You could have hooked up to a 77 inch display.

Lg is very proud of how low profile Evo series is. When mounted, there’s almost no Gap. The wall mount bracket, which is include, did, in our case, we’re going to be putting it on a stand, but it is nice that they include low profile wall mount bracket in the package. Our remote dedicated buttons for Netflix Prime video Disney plus NFC on there as well kind of a nice curvature to it as well.

It’S a whole thing kind of yeah. It does. Oh, so smart, so smart foreign they’ve actually got a whole different type of surface texture. Here, which has a lot more anti-glare historically, has been that yes, we’ve got these extremely saturated colors, but we’ve also got these really glossy displays. Are we going to end up with Reflections in glare, so this new kind of coating balances that out? So all of a sudden, you put this in the main room and you don’t worry as much about Reflections and glare. We’Ve got a couple of USB a ports at the top HDMI 4K 120 hertz capable is going to be a perfect spot for your next Generation game console another USB, a port wired, ethernet digital audio out.

You can also see the Nvidia g-sync logo over here, making it even more attractive for plugging your GPU into it. I’M going to explain a little bit more about this mounting section. This is really unique. You can see the hardware is already in there and you can see.

There’S a recessed section impressive, considering how thin the whole thing is and look at how slim the wall mount bracket is slip in right. There there’s no Gap, it’s just right on the wall. However, in our case, we want to mount it onto a piece of media furniture for traditional face mounting as well. Thank you wait. I didn’t peel anything off of it. Yet man, those are the peels of all peels on the large display, look at that [ Applause ] now you’re going to be thinking Lou.

Why are you sitting so damn close, it’s because I want to appreciate the pixels and, as you can see, we have game console hooked up. The display itself has a variety of modes for enjoying content as well new processor, so everything is moving around quickly. We’Ve also got the ability to launch into our console, which is on HDMI 3, which is an HDMI 2.1 Port. We’Ve also got Nvidia GeForce now, which is Here YouTube, is here I guess, for watching gaming home office to work on the large screen. We can run music, we can see what’s trending now on a variety of services – Apple, TV, Prime video, oh, my goodness, just beautiful stuff. When I look at those black regions which are completely absent of light – and I can see this contrast – it is so pleasing. Let me pause it. Let me pause it. The bright section in the glass there versus the completely dark section, which is right next door, and you can still have that distinctive line without any kind of of blooming stuff going on. So you have the detail, but then you’ve also got the contrast going on just incredible foreign.

Incredibly, pleasing to my eyeballs constantly surprising me that they can keep pushing this technology, like I’m still noticing that we’ve got more pop here, that we’ve we’ve actually improved on something that I thought was sort of. As close as we were going to get to a perfect picture, but that perfect picture that Target keeps changing, we’re always looking at the best each year, and sometimes the leaps are bigger than others, where you thought. Oled had already sort of reached its capacity, apparently not. According to LG, this anti-glare finish barely pick up. A reflection from my viewpoint from my angle.

Uniform would be the best way I could describe it. Thank you, foreign. It’S featuring this Alpha 9 AI processor they’re on Gen 6.

Now it’s designed exclusively for OLED and specialized in OLED pixel control, so this processor is integral in upscaling all types of content. You’Ve also got brightness booster Max, which is powered by this chip, and this is going to supply up to 70 percent Brighter Images when compared to non-o-led Evo models. Now, let’s go ahead and jump into some gaming. The display does support 0.1 millisecond response rate. It’S got Nvidia g-sync capability names increasing premium and it’s also got extremely low input lens. So it should be a good choice for gaming, yeah foreign, it totally. It does a fine job with gaming.

I’Ll say that this particular game is a good example, because it has a 120 hertz display mode. Obviously, this display supports that, so this will reduce input latency and enable higher frame rates. Obviously so by enabling the 120 hertz output it looks like the Fidelity mode frame rate is increased by 40 frames per. Second, that’s pretty cool. Now, obviously, you need a display, like this capable of 120, in order to appreciate that so inside of game mode.

The Brightest OLED I've Seen...

I get this purple overlay which can show me my FPS obviously changed my picture mode for different game styles, so you can see FPS, RPG RTS and it will modify other aspects as a standard mode to Black stabilizer turn your low latency on obviously game Optimizer. But it’s just kind of cool to see some like gamer specific overlay, confidence that the display knows you’re playing a game and it’s making the adjustments in order to optimize that experience. So what can I say I mean listen. This is the latest generation of OLED. It’S the brightest that they’ve ever done. It’S the 10-year anniversary.

The major knock in the past has been around brightness specifically. For me, it was a compromise that was worthwhile already now with the added brightness and pop anti-glare. That’S on there making this a better solution in a whole new set of environments, the optimizations inside of the game mode and the new processor, which makes everything just super Snappy tremendous feedback here. Lg has a really compelling package here. If you’re looking for the best of the best when it comes to OLED, then this is where you’re looking, and you probably already know that foreign foreign .
