The Fastest all AMD gaming PC Build!

The Fastest all AMD gaming PC Build!

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The Fastest all AMD gaming PC Build!”.
Today, I’ll be building a Last of Us themed, gaming, PC and since AMD was so gracious enough to sponsor this video, we’ll be giving it away to one lucky subscriber at the end of this video, starting with the CPU, we are throwing in none other than the Ryzen 9, 7950x, 3D processor, a 16 core 32 thread Behemoth using amd’s latest 3D vcash technology. It simply is the fastest gaming CPU available in the market. Currently, with 3D V cash, the CPU has a lower TDP compared to its non-3d counterpart, which means overall lower system power consumption as well man, whoever wins this PC is going to be having the time of their life. So we’re gon na be popping this inside the MSI Pro x670p Wi-Fi.

Oh, this is such a good looking board. It’S got a ton of features as well: PCI Gen, 5 support 3×16 PCI slots and it comes with built-in Wi-Fi, so this motherboard actually supports all ryzen. 7000X non-3d series CPUs out of the box, so we have to flash the BIOS to make sure it’s compatible with the ryzen 9. 7950X. 3D CPU.

Luckily, MSI already has the files on the website. So it’s going to be a quick update now for memory. I am tossing in a 32 gigabyte kit from t-force running at 6200. Megahertz, the board does support up to 6600, so we are pretty much set.

We just have to enable AMD Expo in the bio so that we can achieve these frequencies and I’ll show you guys how to do that later in the video. So this motherboard actually has four m.2 SSD slots, but I’m only going to be using one of them with a two terabyte m.2 SSD from Corsair. But in addition to that, I’m also going to toss in two one terabyte RGB ssds from t-force. Where was going to win, this PC is going to have all the storage in the world for the operating system, mass storage and any game they desire. Your boy Source tag has got you covered, oh yeah, look at that! Oh oh, it was close. I should not be playing with this speaking of operating system. I’M gon na be going with Windows 11, just so we’re taking advantage of all the optimizations believe it or not. Some games actually do slightly better on Windows 11 over Windows 10, but regardless.

I always like to use the latest platform either way. So if you guys are looking to upgrade your OS to Windows, 11 or you’re staying on Windows 10, but you need a key, you can pick one up on your cdkey.com. Just make sure you use my code. Ts20, to get that 20 off. Okay, now for the case, I’m gon na be building inside the brand new performance, one case from antec, which was just released.

This is a full tower featuring a high airflow front panel design. That’S also magnetic meaning. Maintenance is going to be extremely easy. We got two four millimeter tempered glass side panels and quite possibly the coolest feature of the case. The built-in display near the top.

I o that shows a temperature of either the CPU or the GPU, pretty freaking cool. Speaking of cool, take a look at the awesome artwork that we’ve done on the top of the case, as well as the side of the power supply shroud. You know it’s very difficult to capture the essence of the last of us. There was no specific color scheme that was used.

There was no logo that was associated with the game, so I thought we can use the setting of the game as the foundation post-apocalyptic ruins of a city – that’s no longer vacant. So you got all these trees and plants growing out of control and consuming the city streets. I thought these images make the most sense on the bottom of the case and then, as we move up, we can include a few stills from the game by the way. All these panels have RGB, so we can hook it up to the motherboard and sync all the lights together.

It’S gon na look really awesome at the end, once we complete it. These are all custom made by the talented people over at V1 Tech by the way. So huge shout out to them for doing the custom mods on the case. I’M sure you guys have heard of them before on the channel.

So if you guys want to check out any of the cool stuff, I’ll drop a link down below now, the case does come with four pre-installed fans. We got three 140 millimeter high airflow fans in the front for intake and a single 120 millimeter fan, while in the back for exhaust, we will be going with an AIO for this build. So we’re gon na have three more 120 millimeter fans on the top for exhaust. Now for the bottom power supply shroud, we can actually hook up an additional three 120 millimeter fans, but instead of that I’ll be going with this really cool custom artwork.

That kind of connects the power supply shroud together. I figured we’re going to be good with cooling, so we don’t need to add any additional fans. Thank you, foreign [ Applause, ], foreign Behold, The Last of Us themed, gaming PC. I am absolutely in love with the way it came out.

The first thing I did was I went into BIOS and enabled XMP to make sure that the memory is running at its max speed of 6200 megahertz. This option is always disabled by default. So if you guys want to make sure that your memory is running at its full potential, you can quickly check on Windows. Just right.

Click on your taskbar go to the task manager then go into the memory Tab and the current speed of your RAM should be displayed on the bottom right. If it’s showing a much lower speed, then just go back into your bios and enable XMP, then press F10 and restart your PC. Now, if the memory is not compatible with your motherboard and your system is unstable, just go back into the BIOS and lower the frequency by 100. Megahertz. Just keep doing this until you find a stable frequency, enabling the XMP in your system will drastically increase your gaming performance. So it’s definitely something that you should not neglect.

Now, let’s talk about AMD Sam AKA, smart Access Memory. This is another feature that will drastically improve your frame rates in games and sadly, there are a lot of people out there who still don’t know this feature exists. In short, Sam enables AMD ryzen processors to harness the full potential of the graphics card memory, increasing the performance and games, and because of this, you will need at least a ryzen 3000 Series CPU or later paired with the Radeon RX 5000 series or later GPU.

I did some testing and I found some pretty impressive results like in Warzone 2.0, for example, in 1440p ultra settings I was averaging around 151 FPS, which isn’t bad. I mean it’s definitely playable, but enabling Sam pushed me up to 170 FPS. That’S nearly a 20 FPS gain just by enabling an option. Similar results were found in Rainbow Six Siege, 1440p ultra settings as well. I got 581 FPS with no Sam enabled and The in-game Benchmark, but when I turn it on it boosted the game by another. Other 21 FPS – that’s actually pretty nuts. Now to be fair, not every single game will experience impressive FPS games like, for example, in cyberpunk 2077.

There was only a 5 FPS gain by switching on Sam and The Last of Us Part One. There was only a two FPS gain, so don’t expect it across all titles, but there’s almost always a positive game, and the point I’m trying to make here is that you should always just enable it by default, because the benefits of having it on Far outweigh the Benefits of leaving it off luckily, most of the time it’s enabled by default, but you can always check and see if your PC has it on just restart your PC and go into the BIOS, then navigate into the settings. Pcie slash PCI subsystem settings and then make sure that resize bar support is enabled above 4G. Memory should be enabled by default. When you enable this feature, then press F10 to save the settings and restart your PC.

Now, once you’re at your desktop, download and install AMD adrenaline then go over to the performance, tab, click on tuning scroll down and then check and see. If the AMD, smart Access Memory option is checked, if not go ahead and enable it. I really really enjoyed Building inside the antec performance.

One case. Temps are really cool, it’s a very quiet system overall, but there is one problem with it and that has to do with the LCD display up top. I just feel like it’s such poor use of space. You got so much space on here, but it’s only displaying the CPU temperature, like I’m, not expecting a full sensor panel on there, but they could have at least put in the GPU temperature on the left side or something but other than that. I really like the case overall, I had such a blast gaming on this PC. When I was feeling competitive, I jumped on bottle Warfare 2 and emptied some mags into people doing 24 7 shipment. But when I wanted to kick back and relax, I enjoyed some Last of Us Part One which really sucked me into the storyline. Once again, I’m really happy that I’m able to finally play this game on the PC and if you want to as well AMD, is actually giving away a copy of The Last of Us Part One with a purchase of an AMD 6000 series or 7000 series graphics Card I’ll drop a link to more info down below, if you guys want to check it out along with a link to the giveaway, if you guys want to enter for a chance to win this bad boy. Oh, that’s the winner on my Discord once the giveaway is over, so make sure you guys are part of my server.

Thank you guys so much for watching. Thank you to AMD for sponsoring this video and I’ll see you guys very soon in the next one foreign .
