Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “This is the ONE! Nebula Capsule 3 & Cosmos 4K Projectors!”.
Thanks to nebula for sponsoring this video, you got ta pick it up. Those are the times of my life that make me the happiest. When I could sort of sit with my family, I can watch a good movie watch the Rams in the Super Bowl or the 49ers get eliminated. Those are things that stick out in my head before I get to how I put all this together and how you guys can too. I want to thank you for supporting me all these years for generally being kind, awesome and good people. You get a chance to win 500 bucks um. All you got to do is is live on earth. If you have a comment down below, let me know the first thing you would watch with one of these awesome projectors leave your social handle in the comment. So I can reach out to you. If you win give the video a thumbs up, certainly would I would help, but let it run for two weeks again anywhere in the world other information that will be in the description recently, I’m looking at a lot more projectors on the channel because they tend to Give you sort of a more unique experience that you can’t get with a regular TV and that friends is where nebula comes in, so I’ve actually talked about both these projected on the channel before. But if you’re looking for a great way to kind of elevate, your viewing experience at home or really anywhere else, uh, the nebula Cosmos 4K and the nebula capsule 3 are the absolute first place.
You should look so both these projectors have a few key things in common and sort of, depending on what you’re looking for. One of them might be better for you than the other. In other words, my kids are older, but I always wanted to put a projector up in the backyard and have them float in a pool and watch jaws and try not to traumatize them, but probably got ta. Wait till they’re older.
That’S my dream. Maybe your dream is less traumatic towards your kids, but there’s a way just to sort of watch things outside to get viewing experience outside. Maybe watch a football game uh in a different way, just a really cool way to bring all of your stuff with you and not just in your backyard. If you’re going camping or anywhere else in the outdoors, it’s really an awesome way to enjoy a movie while you’re on the go so for the cosmos. I really like this one for full movies or kind of an immersive experience. It can easily replace a dedicated TV set, and so you want to watch a movie on a gimungus screen. This is where you start things that you just can’t get from a TV.
You can get these things to be absolutely gigantic. You can buy gigantic TV, but that is going to cost you a tremendous amount of money. The projector gives you flexibility.
It gives you the option to change your screen size. Ultimately, you don’t have to spend you know, potentially ten thousand dollars or more on a huge set, so the cosmos is about a 10 inch Cube inside is packed with everything that you need to have for the ultimate home, theater experience so up front. You’Ve got your lens where the image kind of comes out and there’s some other sensors there as well. One is for remote but, more importantly, with kids matters. There’S a sensor for safety uh. This is a laser projector.
We’Ll talk about more in a second the number one rule of lasers: uh, don’t shine them in your eye. So if Cosmos detects your eyes, it will shut itself off automatically really nice feature. Plus you can use your sensors to help you set it up. So since this is portable, you want to be able to have the setup process be seamless and it really is: there’s autofocus built in gridsless, Auto, Keystone correction and auto Keystone fit. So literally, all you do take the projector put it down the image, adjusts itself and looks absolutely perfect and really, wherever you put it, it’s going to do that uh uneven surface on grass on a sort of weird tabletop: that’s not level! It will work perfectly another built-in feature with the cosmos. It’S nice to have speakers again taking this around with you, you don’t want to be lugging around a sound system too, so you’ve got 200 watt, full range speakers and two five watt tweeters.
Now these are not going to blow the house down with audio, but for a portable speaker, that’s going to give you a nice experience. It works exactly how you’d expect the sound is still pretty full. The bass is still pretty good. It’S a really nice sort of viewing experience, and now a really nice audio experience right out of the box with really nothing else. The capsule 3, on the other hand, take the same idea as a cosmos and squeezes it into a tiny package. This is a three and a half inch by six and a half inch cylinder that packs a pretty solid punch and, of course, being the size. Most important thing is portability, and because of that, there’s a important feature built in that Cosmos does not have, and that is a 14 500 milliamp hour battery. So you can watch literally anywhere without power.
The battery is going to give you about two and a half hours of watch time. So that’s enough to bend a few episodes of a TV show or sort of watch whatever movie you want um, but just because it’s so small does not mean you’re, sacrificing quality. Uh, it’s still powered by a laser light source. There’S an 8 watt speaker with Dolby Digital plus built in it also has features like Auto Keystone autofocus, so put it down, and it’s going to do its thing not to worry about sort of adjusting it and moving it.
It’S gon na do all that. Smart stuff. For you, the hardware on both these things is really great and solid. They give you a great mix of quality, specs and portability, but none of that matters, if you don’t have a great image quality, and luckily this is where both these projectors absolutely so spec wise image out of both of these uh, is different, which thing to be Expected from just your size of these things, Cosmos is the Big Daddy. It’S a 4K image and a capsule 3 is a 1080p image. Both are being powered by laser light sources. It looks pretty good. The picture looks great, I think do they like the picture. Yeah how’s, it look. What’S your favorite part watching movie out here we’re at the movies, though kind of right.
It’S like almost like a driver. Laser projectors aren’t new to the space you’ve probably heard of them before from the market for projectors, but they are worlds better than traditional Bowl projectors that you get from other manufacturers, but you might not know why so the easiest way to think of it. I did some research how to explain this better. The difference between an LCD TV and OLED TV and LCD TV is using a backlight, that’s shines, sort of everywhere on the TV, but Oleg individually, turn on and off pixels. You get better contrast, better color and better image overall, so with a projector, specifically these two from nebula using a laser. It has individual rgnb colors, so they don’t compete with each other, whereas traditional projector, you get one light bulb source that produces all the colors.
So if you need a specific color like red that specific laser turns on, if you don’t, it turns off not exactly the same as a TV analogy, but hopefully you can like get the idea. So the laser light source gives you a clear, brighter overall, better image than just a regular bulb and we’ve seen the image you’re going to notice immediately. It just looks better if you think a projector is like the old school style kind of washed out, not very bright. This is the bulb style. A laser is a whole different beast and these things get really bright. So the cosmos 4K is 2400 lumens of brightness and it can project up to 850 inches, which is perfect for your home or even for making a home theater capsule.
Three: it’s smaller uh is 1080p resolution and 300 lumens, but can also project at 120 inches, which is really something for thing. This small and again, laser projector, really high quality images. These things look very good I’d be setting them up in the right environment. It’S gon na be hard-pressed to tell that these are coming from projectors and even not a TV. I think, like any projector, you got to have the right environment to get the best out of them.
If you’re setting it up sort of at noon with a huge amount of sunlight, no matter what you’re going to look at whether it’s a TV or a projector, it’s going to look washed out. But if you can set this up an area, we have some control over light or in a darker environment. The picture looks absolutely incredible: it gets rid of laser projector structure, Flex uh the best a lot of people when they want to buy new TVs. Don’T think of projectors, you think I’m gon na you need a 65 inch TV you’re gon na go, buy a 65-inch TV projectors, give you an incredible combination of oftentimes portability, but also giving you a great picture. Flexibility for screen size, uh and also price, and these two projectors from nebula, so I’ve covered two different swaths of projector needs and they both do it incredibly well, if you’re in the market for a new TV you’re looking for projector, you owe it to yourself to At least check out what nebula has to offer and if you want to do that, we’ll link to them down below .
