This is the most expensive powder coats you can get. Oh it’s powder coated cool metallic plates. This is an oil, that’s a real estate, uh! That’S a conic! I’Ve got my gorgeous thermaltake level 10 GT. This thing is about 11 or 12 years old, but it is fantastic. Five hot swap hard drive Bays we’ve got a 3700x in here with a 6800 XT, two uh 200 mil fans top and side boom, with my fantastic off-brand, 600 watt bronze power supply that is currently covered in dust uh, because I like to live life on the Edge all right, so this is my computer.
This is not mine. This is this is free with the event I forgot, my head at home, he doesn’t want to be associated with them in here is a uh I’ll. Just take the whole panel off in here is a rising 5600x. I know it’s a bit of an overcool cooler for a 5600x uh, but I didn’t want to buy a new one, so I found the uh smallest case that can fit an nhd15 at least that I knew of at the time sorry NHD.
4 NHD, 14. um. You can see in here I have a knock to industrial fan, um and then there’s my one of my hard drives in here. I have two hard drives in here. I think right now, no, I have a SATA SSD four terabyte hard drive, two terabytes nvme and xpg, and then another two terabyte Saturn rocket nvme SSD in the motherboard. I’Ve done a d shroud mod on my zoom in I’ve done a d shroud mod on my GPU.
It’S a 5700 XT, it’s being held together literally just by uh ties, um yeah man. It works oh 32, gigabytes of GD of ddr4 4000 megahertz. I don’t know what the brand is anymore. Uh and she’s got a 750 watt PSU that can’t really uh handle it. When I play Forza, so I have to undervolt to play Forza Horizon 5., but uh other than that she game pretty good uh.
My name is Rhys Kendall, I’m from Swift Current Saskatchewan uh. So I got this when I moved up to Fort McMurray, it’s a very isolated town as people who have been there now, I’m sure uh. So basically, I wanted to build a liquid cooled computer for a long time and when I moved up there and got a new job up there, I could finally afford it, so I decided just to go all out for at the time.
What was the best that I could find anyways? This is before I was really into LTT, or anything like that. So it was a long, long, very steep learning curve. It’S got uh 9900k. There are two separate water Loops uh one is for the CPU one is for the GPU uh, it’s all hard line, piping, no soft tubing and I don’t have any swivel fittings or anything.
I had to bend all the pipes to where they’re supposed to go and then, when I upgraded my graphics card from an oem water, cooled 2080 TI to a 3080 TI, I had to modify the pipes just slightly that go to it. Yeah, I’ve had the cooler off once and that’s it. I don’t want to do anything with water blocks or anything unless I have to. But I’ve got one one terabyte SSD 2.5 inch drive, I’m pretty sure is how big it is and then there’s uh hard drive. I can’t remember how big that is for my laptop uh, it’s a one terabyte as well, and then there’s uh one terabyte Samsung, evos, Seven Something 700 and something one terabyte nvme drive and then there’s a 500 gigabyte nvme drive m.2 from my old laptop, my Alienware Laptop I used to have, I just got a Blu-ray CD drive in there as well right yeah, because I everyone told me not to put a CD drive in because no one uses them anymore, but I figured I might as well. It might as well be Blu-ray yeah how’s, that feeling Cameron. This is freaking, wonderful yep. I love.
I actually love how tactile everything this one’s, not even that dirty. Did I really give you an honorable mention? No, you can go. You could go it’s not that dirty! It’S not that dirty! You tried okay. Next up, we’ve got a course that meant that the saddest part is you paid a lot of money. For this thing, that’s a k95. This is OG. Okay, where are you at come on get over here now? I did this to someone else already, so you had to know it was coming. But what is this pun intended? That’S a lack of whatever else is around it.
I see so really your strategy is you get the whole thing disgusting and then you actually wipe it down with your hands, so the it’s kind of like uh like a circular kind of logic. You wipe your hands off on the keyboard and then you wipe the keyboard off with your hands, creating a zone of like perpetual motion machine cleanliness. What is that? That’S a good question. There’S only one man, one man I have ever known, who could make a keyboard? This dirty one man who happens to be in this crowd and his name is Luke LaFreniere Luke.
Can you come up here for a second please? I need you to help me evaluate this keyboard he’s an expert when it comes to the art of keycaps managing to somehow get kicked and stuff. I I think this is a pube here. So don’t get too close to it. Can you explain what this is? Oh God uh: when did you say you cleaned it? Last, never, never yeah! So that’s accurate um and this is probably an original. This is like what like 2014., oh yeah yeah. This is a k95 first gen yup yup yeah. So it’s been. It’S been eight years.
Um, so that is eight years of sweat, wow good gravy. I think there might actually be some gravy in here. Is it good uh? I would not remember tell me, tell me five things that you have eaten over top of this keyboard actually hold on I’m gon na cut. You off tell me five things you haven’t eaten over this keyboard.
Anybody got a keycap, can you can you run and get me a keycap polar? Please jeez. You know when I was going around and I was saying: hey you guys take such good care of your stuff. I must not have been looking that closely, because that is disgusting. What’S really disgusting is that once I got the keycap off, I think we have final confirmation of Luke’s hypothesis that this is sweat because it actually seems to have oozed down the side of the keycaps.
Next to it, the D key actually has it like dripping down about this far the the brown tan shmooze. The key to this is make sure to suck out, don’t suck it in and also make sure you’re. Oh, we lost it. No worries no worries.
