Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The TOP 5 PHONES coming in 2023!”.
The world of tech has been off to a great start in 2023, especially with all the gadgets and gizmos announced during CES just last week, and while we got a glimpse of a few smartphones set for release this year, some highly anticipated devices were missing from the Trade show, but fortunately, we’ve been keeping tabs on some of the hottest phones set for release this year. I’M Harley Marano with Android authority and in this article I’m going to be showing you the top five phones to look forward to in 2023. To kick off our list. We have the Samsung Galaxy s23 line, the Galaxy S. Series of phones are some of the most popular Android devices around and a yearly product.
Refresh is basically Canon at this point. So what should we expect when the phones actually launch well according to various leaks rumors and renders the Galaxy s23 and s23 plus may see some design changes, including rounded edges and a seamless single tone back? Meanwhile, the s23 ultra is likely to maintain the same form factor as last year, although probably coming out with a different array of color options under the hood. The Galaxy s23 is set to run the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor in virtually all markets after Samsung and Qualcomm signed a deal last year now there could be some s23 variants running an unreleased, exynos, 2300 chipset, but it’ll probably be to a more limited extent than With the exynos 2200 and when it comes to cameras, Samsung has apparently confirmed with its camera partners that it will be bringing a 2 200 megapixel camera sensor to the s23 ultra and leaked rear. Camera specs also indicate that the phone will also include a 10 megapixel 10 times, periscoping camera a 10 megapixel 3 times telephoto camera and a 12 megapixel Ultra wide shooter. As for the s23 and s23 plus rumors suggest that those devices are likely to inherit the camera. Specs from the s22 and s22 plus so now, you’re, probably wondering when is the s23 series going to come out? Well, it’s likely that Samsung will announce the new phones during its unpacked event, which is confirmed to take place on February 1, but we’ll need to wait and see about that by the way.

Next, we’ve got the Google pixel 7A. Now, yes, I know I’m skipping over the pixel 8, but hear me out. The pixel 7 already addresses a lot of the problems you guys had with pixel 6.. However, the pixel 6A still has some major issues that we hope is going to be addressed with the pixel 7A.
For example, the pixel 6A only offers a 60hz display, slow 18 watt wire charging, no wireless charging support and a 12 megapixel main camera. The same one found on the pixel 5A. That being said, current leaks suggest that the pixel 7A will be fixing a lot of these shortcomings, and the 7A will hopefully feature a new display with a 90 Hertz refresh rate 5 watts wireless charging and an upgraded rear camera.
On top of that, we also hope that the pixel 7A will feature faster charging speeds and will be cheaper than or at least the same price as the pixel 6A when it comes to a release date. Our best guess is that Google will announce the pixel 7A at its next developers conference expect to get your hands on a unit sometime between May and August of this year, sticking with the pixel. We are also looking forward to seeing the Google pixel fold. Now. We’Ve been hearing about a Google foldable for years now, but it seems like we are closer than ever to. Finally, seeing one released, we got a glimpse of the pixel phone back in December when a leaked render of the device made its way around the internet and looking at the images, it seems that the pixel fold is wider than the z-fold 4, while sliding in between The Galaxy z-fold, 4 and Oppo Find end in terms of height.
The renders also indicate that the pixel fold will house a triple rear camera system with the typical pixel camera bar design. We’Re also expecting some of Google’s smartphone Staples, featuring great camera hardware and software, powerful, AI calling features and, of course, Google’s latest tensor processor right now. There is no confirmed launch date, but current rumors suggests that the phone will be in production in the third quarter of this year with a launch in Q4. Again, this is speculation, but we here at Android authority, are just really excited to get our hands on Google’s. First foldable, whenever it comes out on the subject of foldables, we’re also looking forward to the Samsung Galaxy Z, flip and fold getting a product refresh this year, don’t get me wrong. The Z flip 4 and fold 4 are the most polished. Foldable phone Samsung has ever released, however, those devices featured rather incremental updates. So for those looking for more dramatic changes, it could be worth holding out for the Galaxy Z, flip 5 and fold 5.. In fact, according to a rumor from Ross young, the z-flip 5 May feature a larger cover display and a less visible crease. Meanwhile, we at Android authority are hoping for improved dust resistance, a thinner and more durable design and upgraded cameras and under the hood we also expect Samsung to power its new foldables with a Snapdragon 8 Gen, 2 processor. Now will any of these things happen? Well, that remains to be seen and if the Z, volt, 4 and flip 4’s release dates are any indication, then we’re hoping to see Samsung’s updated foldables sometime in August.
But again these are pretty early rumors. So take all this information with a grain of salt to round off our list. We have a bit of a wild card and that is the Lenovo think phone by Motorola. Inspired by the ThinkPad line of laptops, the think phone is a business first Flagship device. It Sports an aramid fiber design borrowed from the ThinkPad line, a 6.6 inch poled full HD Plus display Snapdragon 8 plus gen 1 processor and a 5000 milliamp hour battery on the side of the device.
You will also see a red key which is again borrowed from the ThinkPad line, pressing this key activates lenovo’s think to think feature which pairs your think phone to a think pad giving you access to features including a shared clipboard, shared notifications, the ability to stream an App from your phone and sharing files between devices, and if you want you can program the red key to trigger different shortcuts. Now, while the phone screams ThinkPad, it really is a Motorola at heart. It runs on Motorola’s, my ux, which is an Android skin. That runs smooth and fast and with the think phone you also get three years of Android updates and four years of security patches.
Obviously, this device isn’t made for the average consumer, but we’re curious to see whether or not will succeed within its Target demographic.
