Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “2018 IS THE COMEBACK!!!”.
Hey guys, everything technology here and 2017 was an amazing year, but I am so glad that it’s finally over – and this is not like a typical channel goals – video that I’ve done throughout the past years. This is something a little bit more different, where I’m Way more honest with you guys, because I’ve realized that it’s like really important – and I wish I have done. I was a little bit more transparent in the past, but it’s time for change and change does not happen within a second, but you have to start from somewhere. So yeah it’s time. For me to be honest with you guys, because you guys the reason that I’m sitting right here and you’re also the reason that I have had all the different opportunities that I’ve had throughout the past years, including 2017.
So, let’s get right into this video, okay, quick disclaimer! This is a live style video! I am talking directly to you guys so you’re gon na hear a lot of arms. I’M probably not gon na make a lot of sense, but I felt like this was the best way to do it and not script up with a video that I want to talk to you guys directly, because I will be very awkward and I just need to Be more honest with you guys, and that is definitely the first step, so the first thing I’ll talk about our achievements, so I finally graduated this year class of 2017 and now I’ve got a look back at it. Wow high school went by pretty damn fast. I did not expect that, but I am so glad that it’s over now it’s time for another four year journey in college.
Right now, I’m currently enrolled. You know Community College, where I’m gon na transfer to university and get a four-year bachelor’s degree in marketing. But if anybody wants to pay me a couple millions on throw me a scholarship, possibly give me a shout-out, so I could get million subscribers and make millions of dollars and stuff like that. Yeah I’d be more happy to reconsider school, but I really hope my parents don’t see and hear that same summer after I graduated, I led an internship with the ministry, where I learned different aspects of marketing that I didn’t even know existed.
I also have the opportunity to produce some videos that we’re gon na air on local and national commercials, which is pretty amazing and, what’s even more amazing, is the fact that that internship turned into an actual job offer, which I of course took. And now I have the opportunity to produce stuff for their different social media platforms, as well as TV commercials that are going to nationally and locally, which is just so incredible and that same summer, right after the internship program, I have opportunity to travel to Poland as Well, as Germany, where I filmed some promo videos for this huge company that my friends family owns and speaking of traveling, I traveled a lot. This year I went to Chicago LA New York.
I also went to Toronto in the beginning of the year. It’S been an amazing year in terms of traveling, because one of my biggest goals in the beginning of the year was to travel internationally, and I got to do that multiple times this year, which it’s just so awesome. Ok so as you’ve seen, 2017 was an amazing year in my personal life, but let’s talk about the channel, which is still part of my personal life, honestly, because everybody refers to me as the youtuber God anyway, so the channel has not done that well compared to The past previous years – and that is my fault – it is completely my fault and the reason hasn’t done. That well is because I didn’t adapt. So, yes, I haven’t proven the quality and I’ve realized that you guys notice that, because I’ve seen a couple of comments here and there, but I did not improvement content well, not much.
I didn’t prove much in content. Um. I’Ve realized that you with every business you do have to adapt and that’s something I didn’t do very well this year, my video style hasn’t changed much if you go back to like my very first videos and that’s something that’s gon na change 2018, because that’s really Hurt me this year, this year, for the very first time I actually doubted my youtube channel. I didn’t think I could achieve the goals I wanted to do with YouTube, such as this being my full-time job, and the reason being is because everything has been going downhill like my analytics, are very low this year and now she’s realized the views in my videos.
Has decreased but the support is still there because I can see you guys in the comments section. I don’t get as much likes on the videos yeah and again. I cannot blame anybody, but myself because I didn’t adapt. Everything has been on the negatives, which is really sad to see when it’s something that you really care about, and it’s like a huge passion of yours – and I guess something that I did wrong was the fact that I knew my channel was going downhill, but rather Than changing, I decided to wait until the end of the year to actually do something about it, which is something you shouldn’t do because um tomorrow, 2018, I’m filming December 31st. It’S just gon na be another day and if I just sit here and like set up new year resolutions, it’s probably just not gon na work out, because I feel today you can’t speak something and expect it to exist. Like you can’t speak things existed without playing your part, you really do have to play your part.
It’S one thing to say something, but it’s another thing to actually do it well, yeah. I really hope that made sense, and the last thing I really want to talk about that. I did wrong that I didn’t really realize till the end of the year.
It’S the fact that I started approaching making YouTube videos a little bit more different. When I first started, I was making videos because I honestly just enjoyed it. I had zero subscribers, but yet I still find myself sitting here taking some time off from hanging out with my friends and just filming cool shots of different products and talking about them and helping people like pick a product that they want to purchase and stuff.
Like that, but as time went by, it became more of like a number thing and we’re all so much. I was so focused on the numbers and the videos that we’re gon na get views rather than like going back to the roots and where I started doing videos, because I just honestly just enjoyed it. So I really want that to change up 2018.
I don’t want to focus really on the numbers, but I want to do this because I honestly just enjoy making YouTube videos. Finally, typical: let’s talk about my goal for 2018 and my number one goal is to do videos as if I had zero subscribers. That does not mean I’m going to completely ignore you guys, but that means that I do not want to do videos for the numbers.
I want to do videos because I honestly enjoy making 10 videos. I have a huge passion for tag and I love sharing it to you guys, and I really do appreciate all your support. Thus far. You will notice a little bit of change in content.
In fact, I’m working on like two or three videos that aren’t big ones up in 2018 and it’s been taking me a couple of days and that’s because I’m making videos that I actually want to see him that I actually really enjoy. Even though it takes me. So much more longer to make, but I just can’t wait for you guys to see this new content. It’S not something completely different, but it’s something new and a little bit better in my opinion that I think you guys are really gon na appreciate.
I really really can’t wait for you guys to see it and by the way, the end goal for this channel is a hundred thousand subscribers. That does not mean I’m gon na get too and stop making videos, but that means that’s something that I really want to reach. I really just have. I have this drive to like get to 100k and I just can’t wait to take you guys on this journey.
In fact, I’m already taking you guys on this journey because we already have 28,000 subscribers. I understand that I didn’t achieve my goals last year for, like 70 K, subscribers or three million channel views, or something like that, but I’m not gon na sit here and give up and accept that L because 2018 is that comeback? I cannot wait for you guys to see the content that I have prepared for 2018, because I am gon na change up my content style. It’S not gon na be completely different, but I’m sure you guys are gon na really appreciate it. You’Re gon na really notice that I’m Way more passionate and that I just love doing videos again and I’m not gon na, do it for the money or the numbers, I’m not doing for the analytics.
I’M doing this because I honestly love it. I really do appreciate the support so far again and thank you for being part of this amazing journey and brought 28,000 subscribers we’re almost there.
