MOOV NOW Fitness Tracker/Coach - Full Review

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “MOOV NOW Fitness Tracker/Coach – Full Review”.
Hey, what’s up folks how’s it going! This is waj hope you guys are all doing well, so summer is finally over here and i’m going to take this opportunity to do a lot more physically, related activities outside. So a lot of running jogging, walking and cycling and what i want to do is actually get something that would simplify the whole activity tracking situation. But recently i’ve been testing out the move, fitness tracker, which can be used in a variety of different ways and i’ll track a whole bunch of different physically related activities. We’Re going to go through the full review of the product and see what it has to offer and see if it’s right for you now, as you can see, the move now is actually a very simple little device. There’S no screens, there’s no fancy dials.

MOOV NOW Fitness Tracker/Coach - Full Review

All you have is just one large button that comprises most of the body of the actual tracker itself and a small little led indicator to let you know if it’s working or not, and what the battery status is and speaking of the battery life itself, the move. Actually has a user replaceable, 3 volt lithium cell battery the battery life is an impressive six months, which is pretty incredible, but kind of necessary, since you can’t actually recharge the unit itself. Now, in addition to that, the build quality is actually really nice on the move. Since it’s such a simple little device and it’s weather resistant, sweat proof, so it can operate in pretty much any kind of condition that you’re gon na go through. Now, when you get your move, you get two breathable bands. One is designed to fit in your wrist.

The other one on your ankle, both straps, have plenty of adjustability, so everything is nice and comfortable and secure. Now the move will actually track your physical activities, as well as your sleep at all times, but it’ll only send that information via bluetooth to the smartphone app. When it’s actually engaged and it’s in its syncing mode, which explains why you have such a long, lasting battery life and most of the magic is gon na happen through the application. As you would imagine, and when you first open up the app you can see at the very top, you have an activity indicator which will let you know how many minutes you’ve been active throughout the day.

If you tap into that menu, you get a little breakdown. Histogram of what your day has been like, both in terms of physical activities and your sleeping habits. Now, in terms of the actual sleep tracking system, the device can actually measure the different sleep cycles, whether that be light or restorative and overall it does a pretty good job of recognizing your sleep wake periods and, as you can see, i get decent amount of sleep, Especially on the weekends. Now, when it comes to tracking physical activity, you can see that there’s a breakdown of how many calories you’ve burned throughout the day, based on both your workouts other, a general physical related activities, as well as your basal metabolic rate, which is how many calories you’re going To burn without having to do anything based on age, height, sex and everything like that now, the only thing missing from here is just a pedometer reading of how many steps you’ve taken throughout the day.

Unfortunately, even though the device is capable enough to do that, we don’t find that information uh when you’re just walking about you, can only really get detailed information about your specific strides and how many steps you’ve taken when you engage a certain workout program, and that brings Us nicely to the main point of the move device which is based on these coaching programs that you can engage in whether you’re walking running cycling. You can even swim box and there’s even a home circuit training system. Now, unfortunately, i didn’t get the opportunity to do some boxing or swimming through the move device perhaps later on the future. I can update you guys on that, but i specifically want to use the move for our running and cycling and that’s what we’re going to talk in depth about now when it comes to running this is a great little companion, there’s, obviously tons of different routines and Programs specifically designed for running whether that’s to intensify your running abilities with interval, training or you can select a more open running program which allows you to do your own thing at your own pace and i’ll. Just give you some advice as you’re running along now. The interesting thing about the coaching system, although robotic at times it does give you some valid information based on two factors.

One is to reduce the negative joint impact that you’re gon na get from a lot of intense running applications. So with it’s a three-dimensional motion, capturing system, it can actually tell how much g-forces you’re putting down on the ground, which is really darn, impressive and it’ll. Tell you accordingly whether to increase your stride or decrease your stride in order to reduce that negative impact. The other thing it’s going to do is encourage you to intensify and increase your running pace in order to meet your target time pace and overall fitness goals.

Now, probably one of my favorite features of the move. Tracker definitely has to be for cycling. In fact, if you have a smartphone mount for your bike, you can actually turn your smartphone into a proper bike computer that will tell you a whole bunch of nice, real-time information about your rpm and cadence and with access to your phone’s gps. The app cannot only track your speed and distance very accurately, but it also draws out your ride path on a map, so you can see wherever you’ve been and just like the running portion.

The coaching system provides helpful audio cues in order to reduce physical stress and impact, and also give you some advice on whether to change your gears up or down in order to maximize your cardiovascular efficiency, as we mentioned before, the move also has certain programs for calisthenics Circuit training and that’s basically body weight exercises that you can do pretty much anywhere at home and just like many of the other workout programs, there’s incremental levels for intensity and even though, after a while you’re kind of going through the same thing. Over and over again. So it can get a little bit boring and repetitive, but you are still gon na get a full body workout, which is gon na burn a tremendous amount of calories in a relatively short amount of time, which is always a good thing, but really on that guys. That’S really it uh.
