Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “DJI Mavic Pro Platinum + Black Friday Deals!”.
Hey what’s up folks how’s it going. This is waj hope you guys are all doing well and in this article we’re going to be talking about this. This is the new mavic pro platinum from dji. Now this is an improvement upon of what i consider, probably one of the best drones out in the market. The standard mavic pro the key thing that this improves upon is four different factors.
The first improvement is regarding the new propellers that we have on the platinum edition, so these are a little bit more aerodynamic they’re supposed to give you a little bit more hover stability and be overall, more efficient when the drone is in flight, and that’s going to Also attribute to the fact that this has now a 30 minute battery life. Obviously, battery life will fluctuate depending upon how you’re, using the drone, but typically you’re, going to get around a three to four minutes on average, better than the standard mavic pro, which already had a pretty decent battery life. Now, internally, we also have a brand new electronic speed controllers, which are going to do a couple of things. One increase efficiency, that’s one of the reasons why we do have better battery life and the other thing too, in combination with the new propellers.
It’S actually going to reduce the overall noise of the drone by up to 60 percent about four decibels quieter on average than the original standard mavic pro. So if you’re going to fly indoors, if you’re going to fly close by or don’t want to disturb anybody, that’s kind of really nice, it’s probably one of the quietest drones that i’ve ever ever came across. I know sometimes when you fire up a standard drone indoors in a quiet room. It sounds like there’s an airliner taking off versus.
This is definitely a lot more bearable, although i would probably recommend not a lot of people to actually fly their drones indoors, because there’s so many hazards as you’re going to see over here of me crashing. My drone into my white screen background not a pleasant experience, but thankfully this is still a very, very durable overall, a little unit. No damage was done uh to this, although it did kind of rip my screen.
Unfortunately, so i’m going to have to make a new one, but that’s one of the things about flying indoors is you’re always going to have wrists. We still have all the great features in terms of obstacle: avoidance, sensors at the front and bottom of the drone, and, generally speaking, the minor upgrades that you’re getting from here is not including uh. The video performance is pretty much the same in terms of the 4k quality.
Some people have mentioned that the 1080p at 60fps looks a little bit better and smoother on the platinum, but based on my experience, i did not come across really any difference from the standard. Mavic pro coming to the platinum when it comes to actual video quality, the gimbal’s exactly the same as well but uh. Generally speaking, all the upgrade is going to cost about a hundred dollars more than the standard edition. So it’s not a tremendous amount of money, but certainly if you’re looking for a little bit more of a quieter drone, one that has a little bit better stability and the slightly better battery life. I think it’s worth definitely the 100 x dollars now. That being said, the mavic pro is still an excellent buy and in fact, this holiday season, it’s actually going to go on sale on dji’s website, so starting from the uh 22nd of november, which we’re uploading this video on all the way up to the 27th of November, there’s gon na be a holiday, slash black friday sale on about a hundred dollars less.
So it’s going to go from a thousand dollars to 8.99. Also, the spark drone will also be a hundred dollars less. So that’s definitely a great deal and we’ll also list a couple of different deals on dgi’s sales page in the description down below. So, if you’re interested in getting a new drone for the holiday season and definitely a lot of great deals – and this is a awesome time to buy – but that being said – uh in terms of the platinum series – uh definitely worth the 100 extra dollars.
