Hello and welcome to tech deals, i’m your host xd and, as always, i have some extra deals that you might not have known about. This is our august edition of video game deals where we find the best game deals, so you don’t have to last month’s edition. Was all about the ginormous steam summer sale and the crazy amount of discounts that they had? It was a great sale, but it was not the only summer sale in fact, there’s another summer sale going on right now, right now, right this very minute. Can you guess what it is? No okay! Well, i’m talking about the fanatical summer. Sale bet you didn’t know about that.
One did you now it’s nowhere near as big as the steam summer sale, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any good games on sale. There are some pretty notable games in the sale, but there are also some games that you might not have considered playing either so stick around as we look at some of the best deals that you can get in this summer. Sale. Let’S start things off with shadow of the tomb raider definitive edition, i swear this game is on sale like every week every week is on sale.
As a matter of fact, this game is on sale on steam as well, but it’s actually a little bit cheaper on fanatical. That just goes to show you that steam doesn’t always have the best discounts. This is the full tomb raider experience with the full game, plus all the weapons, all the outfits and all of the skins. Now i’ve only played the first couple hours of the game, but from what i played, i was extremely extremely pleased with this game. It has a great story: it plays great and even though it’s almost two years old, it’s still a great looking game. Also, it’s super well optimized and will run on almost anything, but don’t just take my word for it, because it also has quite the positive reception on steam as well for 18 dollars. This is a very good deal and, as of the time of recording, there are still 12 days left to check it out now. Shadow of the tomb raider is a game that we’ve all heard about before, but have you ever heard of a game called vanquish? If you haven’t, then i don’t blame you, because while it wasn’t a super obscure game in 2010, it still wasn’t quite as popular as call of duty, black ops, which also came out that year, vanquish is an extremely unique third person shooter. That definitely deserves a look. It’S fast paced over the top and pretty dang challenging. To be honest, it’s gon na kick your butt. Also, this game holds up very well visually for a 10 year old game.
It’S one of the most entertaining third person shooters i’ve ever played. So if you’re looking for something a little bit different to play this time around, then you should definitely give this game a try, especially for less than 5 dollars, which does include all of the dlc. So you really can’t go wrong with this deal. As of the time of recording, there are 9 days left to check out this spectacular shooter, so that last game was good, but it was a bit of an old one.
So let’s switch gears to something a little bit more recent. Shall we something, like devil, may cry, 5 out of all the games that i played last year, this had to be one of my all-time favorites. I could not believe how good this game was.
It was one of the few games that i actually went back and played multiple times. I never ever ever do that these days. The story is amazing.
The combat feels great and each character that you play has their own unique, gameplay style that keeps the game fresh throughout the entire experience. The re engine really shines here, especially in the in-game cutscenes, showcasing some of the most detailed looking character models. I’Ve ever seen in a game, capcom really outdid themselves, this time seriously guys just do yourself a favor and check this game out. The deluxe edition is on sale at fanatical for 23 dollars, which beats out the steam version, which is also on sale for 50. So once again, fanatical has the better deal here. There are nine days left for this deal if you want to check it out for yourself, so we talked about some good deals for individual games, but not everybody wants to get just one game.
I mean that’s kind of boring, that’s where this bundle comes in. This is the nemesis x bundle. This is a bundle that comes with six different games, including ancestors legacy gods trigger american fugitive internet, cafe, simulator grip and hob. What i like about this bundle is that it gives you a wide range of games to play.
You have a real time strategy game, two top down: shooter games, an action-adventure, platformer, a racing game and a simulator all wrapped up into an extremely inexpensive package. For just four dollars i mean that’s a pretty sweet deal, even if you only wanted one game like cobb, for example, you’re, essentially getting a normally 20 game on steam for 4 bucks. So it’s a fantastic deal. If you guys are interested in picking up this bundle. There are still 13 days left to check it out for those of you guys who have been paying attention.
