Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Gaming On This Monitor IS Just Fun – BenQ Mobiuz EX2510”.
What’S going on tech fans, if you’re like me, gaming is a major part of your life, you do it for hobby, you do it for esports or you do it just because you’re plainly competitive or just bored, but in any case most gamers really would prefer to Have a really nice gaming monitor to match with their gaming computer and that’s what today’s video is about. We’Re going to be checking out the brand new bing q mobius. I think it’s pronouncing it right, mobius, that’s what it looks like anyways ex-2510. This is a monitor that comes to market at about 249 dollars. Has a lot of different features, is super duper lightweight, and this thing weighs like less than 13 pounds, so it’s super duper lightweight and um.
Honestly, it’s probably one of the easiest monitors i’ve ever put together in my life. So let’s jump right in and let’s talk about the ex-2510 from benq on tekka tomorrow. Did you just build yourself, a brand new pc, or did you just upgrade your old pc but find you’re in need of a windows? 10 key? Taking a look at everything that comes in the box, it’s pretty simple! You just get the different parts that you need. You get some cables the power and you get a displayport cable. You don’t get an hdmi cable whatsoever, but one thing about this particular mod is it’s really simple: to put together just three parts that connect together and you don’t even need a screwdriver or tools or anything else they just screw right in and it’s simple now taking A look at the front of the monitor you guys can see. This is a 24.5 inch led backlit ips screen.
It features a 16 to 9 aspect ratio, it’s 1920×1080 at 90 pixels per inch, and the monitor also has an anti-glare coating on the screen. Now, as far as the on-screen display goes, you can locate this by going on the back of the monitor on the right-hand side, clicking a little button and then right on the right hand, side. The little screen comes up where you can adjust everything that you need. As far as the monitor goes now, there are also some built-in speakers in this monitor as well on the bottom of the monitor. There are two trivola 2.5 inch watt speakers and the sound really is not all that bad whatsoever. You really don’t need speakers unless you want ultimate sound.
The monitor also features a one millisecond response time and the input lag on this monitor is only 1.02 milliseconds. So that’s really really fast. I mean think about it. There’S a thousand of these milliseconds in a single second, the monitor, features, 144 hertz refresh rate and freesync pro.
So if you have an amd card, make sure that you go into the control panel and initialize your freesync controls now the monitor also features hdr 10. A native contrast ratio, a thousand to one, a brightness of 350 nit and a 99 srgb color gamut. You also have different color modes. You have cinema mode hdri, you also have e-papers.
So if you want to read a book online or whatever it’ll change the text and make it so it’s really easy for you to read: it features: first-person shooter, game modes, hdr, m-book, racing game, regular, srgb and just standard mode. The ex2510 also features eye care. So it’s flicker free.
It’S got low blue light, like i said before, it does have an anti-glare screen. So when you’re looking at the screen, if there’s bright lights and stuff they’re not reflecting off into your face, so you can see everything on the screen without a problem. Now the monitor features a great adjustment feature because you can raise the monitor up and down by quite a bit 130 degrees back and forth. So no matter, you know where you want the monitor, be it’ll, be able to adjust that point. The monitor also has a tilt feature from -5 to -20 degrees and a swivel feature from 20 to 20 degrees.
One thing you’re going to notice about this monitor is that there is no bezel, though whatsoever on the front of the screen. So if you were a person who wanted to put multiple of these monitors together to make a triple monitor, setup, it’d be really nice because there’s absolutely no bezel whatsoever. Now all the cables and everything plug into the back of the monitor the monitor does not have any type of vase amount, so you can’t mount it on your wall. It only comes with the stand, that’s on it, but it’s like i said earlier.
It’S really really easy to put together, so it’s a pretty feature filled monitor so right now, let’s jump in though, let’s check out a couple of games and what the text looks like on the ex2510 all right, so both text and gaming looks pretty nice and being The fact that this is an ips panel you’re going to get much better colors that you’re going to be able to get with a va or a tn panel. A lot of people out there prefer ips panels all around, especially for the srgb stuff, because if you’re doing artwork or you know, you’re a person, who’s really picky about colors, then you’re going to probably want to monitor it. That features you know an ips panel in it and a lot of the gaming monitors that are out there in this size. The 24.5, which they call 25 inch monitor, usually do not have this type of screen, so it’s kind of unique in that factor.
Now this monitor, like i said, comes to market at 249. I think that, overall, it’s a pretty nice monitor for that and i honestly think it deserves an editor’s choice here on techa tomorrow. Just for the fact that it’s very feature filled and the price isn’t that bad um, honestly freesync pro 144 hertz, all of the eye care stuff, um, honestly um, it’s really really nice! Now there are a few caveats about the monitor, um, there’s no g-sync support. So if you don’t have you know an amd card and just have nvidia card you’re not going to get the ultimate benefits of this monitor, so you might want to search for a different one and also trying to plug the cables into the back of the monitor.
Can be kind of a pain in the butt. The way the monitor is designed trying to put the cables in you got to kind of just wiggle them around and kind of mess with it. It’S not something that’s very easy to do and if the monitor is actually completely put together and you’re just trying to stick the cables in – and you know like you know it’s on your desk you’re trying to do it, it’s even harder. So that particular thing is something to think about um like usual, though i’ll have links down below.
