So everybody knows that the video card market has just gotten completely ridiculous, and video cards are really technically impossible to find, unless you’re willing to pay a high price. Now it does look, however, though, like we’re going to see some new cards coming for a fact and that’s what today’s video is about now. Nvidia will never comment about any card that they’re not currently, you know having released so getting them to comment on something. That’S not already in the markets just impossible, but there’s no denying at this point that we’re going to be seeing an rtx, 3080 ti plus looks like more 30.
90S are coming as well. So let’s hop right in and let’s talk, tech, video style. There’S this user on facebook called lock lock and apparently this guy was able to get some photographs of a bunch of video cards in a warehouse that are presumably being shipped here to the united states and on some of these cards was the nomenclature rtx 3080 ti Now it seems like it’s also been confirmed now, somewhere through a leak or rumor what the specs are so you’re going to see. You know 10 240 cuda cores you’re, going to see 80 rt cores and 320 of the tensor cores you’re, also going to see 12 gigabytes of gddr6. It’S going to have a 384 bit memory. Bus and the memory speed should be about 19 gigabytes. Excuse me gigabits per second, so that’s the specs as it is now and obviously, from this picture, these cards are coming right off.
The bat looks like to msi, because the products that they’re being shown in the picture are msi branded cards, but there’s also some rtx 30 90 cards that are there as well. The crazy thing is, though, and as we roll through time we’re finding out that really the people that are doing the mining really are the ones to blame. It just seems like that. There’S also some other factors as well.
I know there’s a lot of component shortages around the world, that’s making it hard, but now it’s pretty much. Everybody knows it that, before the video cards are even hitting the actual open market, they’re all being sold either under the table or some backdoor crazy deal to people that are doing mining illegally illegally. Legally, however, speakily these cards are being sold to people doing mining and that just sucks for gamers all the way around now it also looks like there are. Some are excuse me some rx, 580 cards coming now, even though the rx 580 cards aren’t the greatest card. In the market for mining they’re, actually one of the best cards that there is so i don’t know, will these cards even make it to the united states shores or will they hit the dock somewhere and then disappear? I mean there was actually some other rumors a couple of weeks ago about all these cards. They found that they found.
Excuse me in china from these people doing illegal mining. They were doing it in these towns, where, like electricity, was built at like no cost whatsoever. So they could build this giant farm of cards and pay low electricity. I mean that’s a no-brainer for somebody right, but also highly illegal.
So that’s just that sucks all together, but regardless of what else is going on? Obviously we’re going to see an rtx 3080 ti because well in the picture you see it’s right. There there’s there’s no way, that’s a fake top picture and apparently there’s a whole warehouse of these cards. How many exactly no one actually has the real number on what the total amount of these cards is, but still now the card’s also probably going to be priced around ten thousand. Ninety nine dollars, which puts it you know in a weird place, i mean it is cheaper than the 30 90, but it’s a lot more expensive than the 30 80..
So you know a 3080 ti being priced at you know, 1100. So what we’re gon na see this thing on ebay, for what two thousand twenty five hundred come on and what’s worse about this, is that now there are stores actual store fronts. I’Ve heard my percenter even did this, which is crazy. You walk in and you see a card in the shelf and the card in the shelf is at these prices that are way above the msrp. That’S just ridiculous! Now i know pc gaming is supposed to be at its apex right now of popularity, but when people can’t even get a video card, that’s really kind of a crappy thing. I mean obviously with the covid the pandemic. More people were at home in the united states. They actually even gave out some money to people, so people had some extra cash. Some people didn’t other people did so they would buy a video card, probably no matter what price it came out. The market’s just gotten completely utterly wrecked.
When i first started playing gaming and started playing games on a pc, video cards were a couple hundred bucks and you knew if you went to the store there was going to be shelves of these things. Now you can’t even find one and obviously it’s because of the mining theme, because if somebody can buy a product and make money off of it, instead of using it just to have fun, i mean what the obviously that’s kind of like a a no-brainer right. Okay, cool – i don’t have to game on this card. I can buy this card, use the heck out of it resell it when it’s no longer worth it to me and to move about my day, you know so for only person that gets hurt in that. Is you know, people like you, people like me, people who like to game and who, like nice, video cards and, unfortunately, for us, if you want a card you’re gon na, have to pay through the nose, yeah, very painful situation, but there it is. Obviously nvidia is not going to say: oh yeah cool we’re having the the rtx 3080 ti. It’S coming for sure, thanks guys, they’re not going to do that, but obviously, with the specs that have now been confirmed somewhere from some leak somewhere, then a hole in the boat somebody put their finger in that hole. Somebody plugged that leak hole now this stuff happens all the time.
I sometimes wonder if these people just like leaking on purpose. You know what i mean because they leak it on purpose. They generate it, then their their public stance, their public stances.

There’Ll be no comment on that today, sir no comment at all when in reality they know damn well what cards are coming and they can just leak that information out the back door. Some tech site, like myself, pick it up, do a story so hey what the heck they’re gon na win, either way right. So officially they’re like hey, it’s a no-go joe, but behind the back door. They’Re, like yeah here, are the specs check these out this card’s going to be cool, but there you have it folks.

Personally, my best experience with nvidia cards has been through evga. That’S just me, and my best experience on the amd side of things has been xfx. Sapphire was never that bad when i, when i worked with them and had cards from them either, but xfx and evga to me have been the best people that i’ve ever dealt with for warranties and taking care of rmas and all that stuff. That’S just been my experience. I know other people have different experiences, so there you have it.
