Yellkey URL Shortener Tutorial

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Yellkey URL Shortener Tutorial”.
In this short tutorial, I want to show you a handy tool for teachers and also for anyone speaking to a group, and that is yell key yell key calm, it’s kind of a funny name and it’s pretty simple, but very useful. As an example, let’s say I’m presenting at a conference or I’m teaching a class, and I would like the audience to have this article on the very important topic of semi palmated sandpipers. This is good stuff and I would like my audience to be able to have a copy of it, but look at the address here. This URL is way too long and difficult for people to copy into their notes or to type into their web browsers, so that they can see this document now. All I have to do, though, is highlight that link and it’s as simple as just clicking on it to highlight it, and then I copy it and then back in yell key.

I can paste it in here and determine how long this yell key will work. Let’S say just ten minutes and then I click generate yell key, and here it is your key is research. So now all the audience has to do is go to yell key calm, slash research, and what will they see? They will be taken directly to that same wonderful article on semi, palmated sandpipers. Now you may be thinking this is similar to tinyurl it’s similar to bitly and that’s true.

It is, but I love how simple this is. I love the fact that it’s word based. There’S not some crazy code at the end, and I like this feature that you can set how many minutes this yell key is active or how many hours. So it’s a quick, simple and temporary way to share information and resources with a group with an audience.
