Best Ear Buds? - Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Best Ear Buds? – Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro”.
This video is sponsored by soundcore, mercifully uh, it is 2021 and i think it’s time to finally just get back to bases in one corner. We’Ve got the soundcore liberty, air 2 and the other. We got the new ones: the liberty, air 2 pro the world of premium wireless earbuds is not all about one brand, so i wanted to put two of the liberty lines best to the test. Let’S see how they stacked up, probably come as no surprise like soundcore as a brand has making really good. Obviously, audio products for years started as a kickstarter and they sort of showed the proof of concept. People wanted that combination of audio fidelity and value, and a few years later, they’ve been building off of that.

So i imagine probably like you, i’m generally like tech support for most of my family and friends, i’m usually when they ask what they should get and the liberty line has really been kind of my go-to recommendation. You can find a pair of the liberty air twos for like 70-ish bucks, depending on where you look you’re getting a really good combination again of solid audio fidelity. It’S got bluetooth 5 support they fit really comfortably in the ear usbc for charging small case. It’S been a really solid option to recommend for folks that don’t want to break the bank or spend a couple hundred bucks for a pair of earbuds. So there’s a lot to like, obviously with the liberty air 2..

Like i said, it brings a lot to the table, but there are some things that were missing from it. I think the big one for me was having active noise cancelling so enter the. I guess brand new, now liberty, air 2 pro. So a few things are similar to the liberty errors. Probably again, my favorite led indicators on the front, but you’ve got active noise cancelling in sort of a familiar bud and stem type formation.

They’Ve got little ear tips on the top to sort of give you that better sealant for the anc and they’ve got more added ear tips to find the best fit than any other headphones. I have seen so if you’ve got like weird air holes or you have a hard time getting earbuds in there chances are it’s going to come with a tip. That’S going to work for you.

You’Ve got some flexibility too. If you want to customize it a little bit with colors, so you’ve got onyx black titanium white sapphire blue, like we got here and crystal pink. Also. I appreciate having fast charging here as well and usb type c for absolutely everything it’s nice to have. So i can just have one cable to pretty much charge everything i own and you don’t have to get a special case to get wireless charging uh the whole thing uh is qi compatible, just put it on a pad you’re good to go uh audio fidelity. Also, obviously, matters, it’s got pretty good bass.

Things tend to sound, really even um, but i’m not an audio file. By my own admission, most headphones tend to sound some version of good to me. So i didn’t look to experts to give their advice on audio fidelity and for liberty. Air 2.

Pro i’ve actually been recommended by 10 grammy award winners, so trust their word over mine when it comes to audio fidelity. So i mean like it’s like most things: right, like hardware is good, but the real experience doesn’t come down to how good the app is and the new soundcore app um does a lot of things. You can customize your experience with the liberty air 2 pros. To start the big ones: it’s where you would change your ambient sound mode.

So, whether or not you want to stay with noise cancellation, whether you want to go to transparency mode, where you can sort of hear things around you or just go to normal mode, where you know, transparency is not turned on, and noise canceling is turned off. If you’re just listening to sort of music with regular earbuds, i would be the best way to save battery life. I tend to rock most of the time, though, with noise cancellation. It seems to be just enough to block out enough of the ambient noise, where i can focus on on what i’m doing so. Having an equalizer in the app is important and we’ve seen that, though you know from a ton of different things, but i think what’s really cool you get with the soundcore app uh is here id, so i’m going to personalize the earphones. What it’s going to do? It’S going to play different frequencies, it’s going to tailor the eq for my ear, which i think is a pretty novel way to do things so i’ll, go ahead and set it up. Put in your age, telling me the decibels around me right now. It’S playing different frequencies, they’re kind of getting higher and higher and higher it’s asking.

If i can hear them, it’s going to do that for the left, ear and the right ear so being able to customize your eq is nice, but now you can get kind of stuck in the weeds with customizing your own uh suny build would actually use custom Eqs from sort of grammy award-winning engineers – and i want to mention too – that there’s touch controls here on the sort of the top part of the stems, and you can customize a lot of what those controls are going to do. So you can customize what a double tap does on the left or the right. When you hold it for two seconds, you can customize what that does it’s just another small way you can sort of make these headphones work best for you there’s also a new service. Coming to the soundcore app, it’s called loom, uh, it’s a way to stream music, but what’s kind of unique about this one uh, it’s focused on the artists. It lets them potentially earn like four or five times more for their art and their songs than they would from sort of the other streaming platform.

So if you find yourself listening to songs that are supported on loom sort of you’re helping give back to the artist, i think that’s kind of a really awesome thing to have inside of the app so most of the times, i’m wearing earbuds and and all candors. For conference calls on zoom calls hangouts teams, whatever uh it might be. So i got to have good audio good mics people can can hear me uh the liberty, air 2 pros have six mics.

It gives really good noise reduction to ambient stuff going on. So those are, those are two options that maybe you wouldn’t have considered if you’re looking for a pair of wireless earbuds – and you can pick you know under 100 bucks or under 150 for the air 2 pro you’re, getting a lot of value for the dollar there Uh, for me, though, anc is almost a must-have, so i tend to gravitate towards the pro new color options. New cases ability to actually see the charge level with the push of a button on the front, coupled with wireless charging and 26 hours of battery life.
