3D Printing in the Classroom: Fab@Home / Fab@School

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “3D Printing in the Classroom: Fab@Home / Fab@School”.
I’M with the fab at home in fabit school projects and what we make is a personal manufacturing device to bring digital fabrication into the classroom to improve stem education in the united states and around the world. It’S kind of like asking in the 1970s where’s the future of the personal computer. It’S everywhere. It’S everything it’s going to have a fundamentally transformative effect on human society. In the short term, i see it going into schools to improve education.

I see it going into the culinary world to improve food production. I see it going into every household in order to make parts and replacement parts and make your life more fulfilled. So we can fabricate everything from plastics, like other 3d printers to silicone, to cookie dough. To deep fried scallop, really the the possibilities are endless.
