That sounds like a great job. Can you give our audience a little bit of a sense of what they should be thinking about if they have an idea, a hardware idea and they’re thinking about crowdfunding? Definitely so as you’re starting to think about. I want to bring this to life, and i want to crowdfund for it figuring out how how are you going to engage to make sure that you get that at least first 30 traction so with indiegogo? It works that for typically the first 30 percent comes for friends and family. Second, the go-go factor once you’ve, you found that activity both from your side, their side. It starts moving your boulder down a hill and then then that’s when press hits and everything else, and it just helps. Take you to catapult you to success so start find where that initial audience is and engage them early. So then they can be continuous evangelists as you’re going forward. That’S great now what kind of resources are available to someone who wants to put something up that they’ve made? Definitely so we actually just developed a hardware handbook, especially for people who are making things, and so i would say, look at that, and it will give you like rules of thumb, for pricing for shipping and all that good stuff.

And then we also have a campaigner field guide that will walk you through the process of signing up and working for and launching a campaign so that you can feel really ready and empowered to go and press go live. How does someone know when they’re ready? I think i feel, like you, never know when you’re ready, you just do it, you feel like you’ve done the you go through so for this example, you go through the field guide, you check off the boxes and then it’s like you’re. Releasing your amazing project into the world and that’s scary and then just know that other people have done it and that you have done that pre-work to be sure to get your first momentum and you feel confident, and you go great well thanks for being on with Us and we’ll have more coverage from engadget expand.

You .
