Hi, I’m Amy see there with texas instruments and we’re here today at our booth at CES, i’m showing off some new technology using the BeagleBone black platform. That’S based on the sitara am335x processor. In this design you see created by some students at the University of California. San Diego and they’ve created a motor control pink through this motor control. Cape attached to the BeagleBone black they’re able to do algorithms to balance this robot all through linux, so all done, and software and no additional hardware required components of this are purchased off the shelf. As well as created through a 3d printer, all of this has being sold as a kit for use and for educational purposes. But the really exciting thing about this platform is that it’s also going to be commercialized.

What you’re looking at here is a prototype for an end product. That’S going to be launched to the market by wowee. The mid robot M is going to be available in the market and later dismay, and it had some of the very similar functionalities. Not only just this self balancing, but also has some fun games for all of us kids to play with, but what’s more exciting about this is this.
