Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “DWS Labs Discusses XFab SLA Printer and Flexible Materials”.
Hey makers – i’m anna kazunas, france, digital fabrication, editor for make magazine and we’re here on the floor of ces 2014 with dws labs and their new xfab 3d printer. So tell us a little bit. Tell us a little bit about your xfab 3d printer hi, i’m maurizio costa baber, i’m a general manager of dws lab. We are a professional high hand. 3D printer manufacturer at the ces. We are going to introduce our new x-fab. It’S a high-hand prosumer 3d printer using our laser technology.

We have a very high resolution coming from the iron printers. We have a wide variety of materials. We have a nine materials like plastic, abs, but also flexible rubber. We have ceramics, so we are trying to bring most of the features of our professional systems into a consumer price excellent, so you said nine different materials and more on the way, absolutely amazing. So you mentioned to me earlier when we were talking that you have a new printer: that’s coming out sometime, that’s more consumer oriented, so this printer’s five thousand dollars correct exactly uh. We are thinking about giving this kind of technology for most of our future customers and we are about to complete a new project for summer time. This year we will introduce a mini version of the x-fab, and the price will be about 2 500 dollars exactly with the same accuracy, the same quality and the same materials just a little bit more compact for uh everyone uh every the possibility to use this technology. Excellent, that’s really exciting and i just want to get your take on is making going mainstream absolutely making is our uh most relevant market? We are having a lot of interest from this market, so we are very exciting and we love to be here at the ces. Great thanks so much for talking to me nice to meet you.

Thank you very much. .
