Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Send Your Project into Space”.
Hi dc denison here at makercon and i’m with edward wright, citizen scientist who’s going to be talking this afternoon and what’s the topic of your talk, edward i’m talking about citizen, science and citizen space exploration and what’s the what’s the thing you’re going to be showing well Citizens in space is a project of the united states rocket academy. We purchased 10 flights on the x-core link, spacecraft which we’re making available to the citizen science community so we’ll be flying 100 citizen science, experiments and 10 citizen astronauts as payload operators and today we’re unveiling the lynx cub payload carrier, which we’ve developed in cooperation with the State of texas space engineering, research, center and texas, a m university, it will fly in the links if it’s right behind the payload. Excuse me behind the pilot seat and it will accommodate about 15 small experiments on a typical flight. What kind of experiments do you think? Will will be in your first payloads? Well, we’re expecting quite a variety of experiments, fluid mechanics life sciences, materials processing. We also have the opportunity to fly some remote sensing experiments in the af cowling ports, so we’ve had a wide variety of interest from people ranging from high school students to medical school professors.
Wow. That sounds great, hey. Let everyone know how can people who are interested in this get in contact with you if you’d like to be part of our program, you just visit our website www. We have a call for experiments which is open right now and we hope that everyone out there will be part of it all right, great, hey.
Thank you. Edward you’re, welcome .
