Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Printrbot Reveals CNC Router”.
All right, i’m here at makercon, with brooke drum from printerbot. You made a big announcement today. Well printerbot is the name of our company, so we make 3d printers. Today i announced we’re making something else, so we’re making a cnc. Basically it’s xyz. So why not? And it’s something that i want to use so we’re making a tool that i’ve wanted for a long time. That’S right here now this is uh the interface what’s cool about it is that it’s all really i’m intending to sell this to beginners. So it’s like people that, like me, that are just starting out with cnc, and i don’t i honestly i’m not like a 3d design master, it’s just something i want to get into. So what we’ve done is partner with maker toolkit here and he’s written this software from scratch. So i can take my ipad and run this cnc machine.
I can even do the drawing right on it, so there’s no more ease. So if you have any questions for brooke about the cnc, that’s coming around the corner in the fall come check out maker faire this weekend. .
