Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Succulent Wine Cork from UC Davis”.
I’M julie, gossler. Our project is um plant, a succulent wine, cork um, it’s a magnet you can put on your fridge, take home and remind you to make smarter water choices at home. Well, because of the california drought, our group is master gardeners, we’re trained to uc davis, to help people use less water and make more sustainable choices at home. So this year we’re really pushing to find ways that people can lose their lawn and plant low water, ground cover or beautiful flowers. So we try to come up with some funny tag lines to get people to start thinking about what else they could put in their yard. Besides a lawn, i love all the really amazing people who come and ask really smart questions, and i find that it’s our most popular event for us, because people really want information and that’s what they’re here to do is share it with them.
