Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The KaLEDoscope”.
My name is grant davis and uh, i’m vj culture. So this is the kaleidoscope. It’S like a kaleidoscope, but kaleidoscope and there’s a hashtag for it. It’S kaleidoscope and uh. This is a little invention that i built up. I use it as i create visuals for a lot of stages and it’s something that people can interact with and it goes up on the screen. So basically people put their head inside of this kaleidoscope with leds and it’s reflected back onto itself.
So, there’s a camera in the very back of it and that camera feeds into my vj software, which eventually ends up on the screen. Well, it’s awfully trippy, that’s the first thing that they think of, but they really love putting their face in there. They like using their own cameras, to take pictures and share on social media. I’Ve got a little video on vimeo under vj culture other than that i haven’t really built any profile for it.
