Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Selfie Shooting Makey Robot”.
I’M jeremy medley, i’m the volunteer coordinator at the ozarks mini maker faire in springfield missouri. I brought maggie the robot. He is also a photo booth, and this was based on the article in make magazine raspberry pi 3 photo booth, and i made this plastic corrugated fold up based on a paper craft bottle, sonic welded, it heat welded. It together put in the guts just uh in about under a week uh. My name is joshua heathcote and i built the bezel that holds the touchscreen. I used autodesk inventor to design the bezel, and it took me two or three hours to get everything lined out and in the right place, the hardest part being figuring out which orientation the screen was in without actually turning it on kids are coming up and taking Pictures – and it’s been a really popular booth – you can can send an email of the picture to you after you take a photo and i’m hoping at some point, we’ll get a huge group photo the hardest part for me was the raspberry pi 3 setup making the Box and the plastic corrugated, that’s what i do for a living, but you know the python scripting and the programming. It was a chore for me to get through it, but i made it and i’m glad it works. .
