Prime in 2016, the core attraction was the ability to watch streams. Ad free twitch has now removed that perch. The company says the move is meant to provide more ad revenue for creators on Twitch and not at all meant to provide more ad revenue for twitch. That’S that’s ridiculous. In response, some streamers have turned off ads in protests saying, since only twitch partners get revenue from ads.
Everyone else will still see no money from the change. Twitch also removed members 20 % discount on game pre-orders from Amazon, replacing it with a $ 10 credit on select titles. While the move does make sense from a business standpoint and twitch partners might stand to benefit it just kind of sucks that there’s basically no reason to get a twitch Prime subscription anymore, but who needs streams anyway? You know I’ve heard of this great site where you can watch videos and even skip ahead. If you want it’s cool speaking of skipping ahead, steamed hams is not what valve has announced, but rather two other non-food related things. First, now that people are angry at twitch TV, what better time to officially debut steam TV, the new site is currently broadcasting the International Valve’s dota 2 tournament with some features.
