Alexa... flush my Sh**

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Alexa… flush my Sh**”.
You know what they say: what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas? Well, not on my watch because all the stuff that’s happening in Vegas, it’s not going to stay there. I’M gon na tell you about it. Also. You might notice we’re in the hallway of our hotel, because it’s it’s nighttime and I’m scared of the dark. Now si es proper hasn’t started yet, but a bunch of pre CES news came out already.

So, let’s get started. Samsung has kicked off the product announcements with three new monitors and I’ll talk about them in order, from least to most interesting to me. The first is the you r59 see a 32 inch curved 4k with a 2500 to 1 contrast ratio and support for up to 1 billion colors. That’S a lot, but I thought we were done with curved 16 by 9.

Monitors apparently we’re not. The second is the CR g9. A curved 49 inch super ultra wide display with a resolution of 50-120 by 1440 aka, a 32 by 9 aspect ratio and a 120 Hertz refresh rate, that’s also compatible with HDR 10 and freesync 2, and the third is the space monitor Wow. This one’s actually got a name, and not just a numerical designation, that’s nice and it’s so called because it can fold flat against the wall to reclaim more desk space or leaned forward.

To get closer to your eyeballs. The screen can even rest on the desk, which would be cool as a touchscreen surface studio type display, but I haven’t seen anything about it. Having a touchscreen but who knows, Samsung is a whole week left.

Maybe they can add it before Friday. Next up cars, they’re shaping up to be next up cars, they’re shaping up to be a big trend at this year’s CES and Hyundai and Kia are contributing to that with what they call future technology, the electric vehicle wireless charging system and automated valet parking system or To look for short, basically, the system would allow a car owner to use a phone app to send their autonomous car to a valet garage when they arrive at a destination that has a valet garage. Not only that, but the car would then find a wireless charging spot for electric vehicles notify the owner when the car is at full charge and then re park itself in a regular parking spot until such a time that the owner calls it back again.

This may seem a little far-fetched, but it’s not actually the weirdest car related thing at CES or even from Kia. The company also has a prototype system called the real-time emotion, adaptive driving system or read a much better algorithm algorithm. Much better acronym. The read system adapts a vehicle’s interior to the passengers emotional state, using sensors to detect facial expressions, heart rate and bio electrical activity. It then can vibrate the seats to match the music provide massages and make you forget all about that horrible press conference. You had to attend just now at at CES and AMD is looking to have a bigger presence in the laptop market and to that end has announced its new lineup of second gen mobile Rison processors.

The chips are reportedly not based on Xen 2 cores, but there are now quad core models paired with built-in Vega graphics and the higher-end models support a new H, designation, indicating a boost in power to take on Intel’s chips. Indeed, AMD claims, their new chips will give Intel’s competing processors, a run for their money in Microsoft, Office and Photoshop, as well as gaming. Using the built-in graphics. Amd’S chips will be found in a number of laptops this coming year from Asus Dell, HP, Lenovo and more, but the other big news is that AMD chips will be in Chromebooks for the first time.

Well, I mean it’s big news for AMD Chromebooks, guys, AMD’s and Chromebooks. Now it’s time for quick bits brought to you by C Sonic yeah, the power supply guys. A lot of people overlook power supplies, but they’re, really the beating heart of every gaming PC and just like a strong heart, will keep your blood pumping the outstanding performance and efficiency of C Sonic’s power supplies will keep your PC running like an Olympic athlete, not literally, Like if it was a computer, the athlete these guys have been making power supplies since the 1980s. They know what they’re doing so, if you need a new PSU for your next build or upgrade check out, see sonic at the link below pawn to the quick bits. Alexa and Google assistant are being baked into everything from headphones to refrigerator. So why should your bathroom get ignored? That’S right. Kohler is on the same page they’re, showing off a smart bathroom setup featuring a smart mirror, smart bathtub and yep the nume 2.0 intelligent toilet. So you can say Alexa flush, my Dookie, but why stop at smart toilets whirlpool as announced it will be adding we’re os SmartWatch support for its existing smart appliances.

So you can control your oven or laundry machine from your wrist. It’S kind of dumb but actually kind of cool Samsung has begun rolling out its Exynos, Auto v9 system on a chip, the company’s first chip intended solely for vehicles. It’S got eight ARM Cortex a 76 cores with three dedicated sets of Mally g76 GPUs to drive various displays around a vehicle which is fitting, since the processor will appear in outies vehicles, including the ones with these those electronic sideview mirrors, which are very necessary to say The red hydrogen one was an underwhelming phone when it came out would be an understatement, but red is helping. The new lithium 3d camera rig for the phone, we’ll bring you back up to being just whelmed from underwhelmed.

The rig uses the hydrogen one as its controller. Rather than a headset I mean who knows, maybe this will actually make the phone useful for like three people who that was that was rude and 5g might not be here yet, but d-link is looking to the future. With the announcement of the 5g and our home router, rather than relying on a coaxial or network plug, the router will pick up a 5g mobile connection and distribute it in a home through Wi-Fi, which means yes, your router will have a SIM card. It won’t arrive until the second half of 2019, but if it means skipping the cable installation to upgrade networks, it might be worth it.

I mean also it kind of looks like it’s giving you a high-five and that’s kind cool. Alright, that’s it for the first of this week’s five special CES edition tech linked episodes. That’S right! You don’t even have to wait until Wednesday come back tomorrow for more tech news. What is this Christmas? I hope not yeah.

No, it’s not! That would mean something is seriously wrong with this space-time continuum. Anyways subscribe, I guess and maybe won’t be in a hallway next time. .
