The 120″ Portable Theater!

The 120

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The 120″ Portable Theater!”.
Thanks to nebula for sponsoring today’s video uh guys it’s your average consumer and it’s been a while, since we did a video in here right yeah, but it’s fitting because today we’re checking out the nebula capsule 3 laser projector and guys you know in here. We got the home theater, so we got some testing to do, but first, let’s unbox it first of all, it’s kind of wild to think about the fact that this is a projector and the size of the box. Is this let’s go ahead pop it open and you know, give our first impressions all right use one of our exacto knives. I don’t have any of my unboxing knives in here.

The 120

It’S kind of wild, but let’s get this thing open see. This is precision cutting you guys. This is what I use for my Gundams. No, I really don’t uh often, but why do I have this anyway? I forget the parts, no there’s a special tool for that anyway, I digress. Let’S just pop this thing: open, that’s gon na be in there forever Jay come on man check it out. In this guy’s hand it looks super tiny, but in the back you got some information, some tech specs. This thing is running Android TV 11.. It’S got a DLP display it’s a laser projector, so it should get pretty bright compared to uh LED options out there 1080p a 14 500 milliamp hour battery built inside, because if you can’t tell this thing is made to be portable, so you can take it around Project onto all kinds of stuff and uh, it’s got a pretty solid battery life to go with it and it’s got USBC HDMI AUX port, Wi-Fi Bluetooth and a built-in Chromecast. You know Android TV, but all right.

Let’S go ahead and pop this thing: open they’re on the beach, that’s kind of wild. We don’t we. That is something we’re missing, we’re missing a beach oh hold on. No, I got ta, I got ta.

Look at it. This is crazy. It’S it’s tiny! Now we’ve seen some small projectors in the past. This is like a Bluetooth speaker almost, and you got all your stuff down here, all right, all right, we’ll get to this in a second so over here I’m guessing! This is where we have all our paperwork.

Oh, we got a little bit of paperwork, we have a remote and we’ve got the batteries to go with it. There you go to get some batteries out. Okay, so we’ve got our remote pretty lightweight. Now we also have another compartment here.

So we’ve got our charging brick USB C, our USB C to C cable, and that should be it. I mean: we’ve got everything else simple enough right, um, but let’s take a look at it. So we’ve got our lens over here. Like I said, it’s a 1080p laser projector uh and it has an autofocus lens which is important. You want them to automatically detect the screen or, where you’re, placing it and correctly display the image yeah. You don’t have to be an expert with projectors. This should make it really easy for the average consumer um up top. We have controls, so we’ve got our confirmation button.

Our return button volume up volume down these are navigation buttons all around and on the bottom, we’ve got our quarter inch tripod thread. So if you want to attach this to some kind of stand or something you can go ahead and do that, I also believe this has an 8 watt speaker, so it should get pretty loud, considering its size. So back here we’ve got our power button mode button and our infrared receiver.

The 120

This thing is super compact, but so we just let’s try it start using it yeah right. Let’S do it now. What’S nice about a projector like this, is you can literally place it anywhere and have it start going we’re gon na need to set it up, though right so can we just like I’m gon na power it on for the first time now this isn’t ideal because It’S not stationary, but bam, uh, okay and now it’s doing its thing to autofocus. Now, let’s be fair, let’s put: let’s put this on something: they don’t need an actual tripod. You could just buy like some a cheap light stand or something, and it’s going to be able to hold this up with no problem.

But you know we got tripods over here. So why not all right and we’re gon na place it down it’s gon na. Do its thing and then boom? Oh, you know, what’s crazy, you see how straight it looks, but look at this. I didn’t even place it down on this properly.

You see how it’s tilted forward. So I need to. I need to adjust this there we go so every time I remove it, yeah yeah automatically, so you get the best uh viewing angles. This is actually surprisingly, like it’s very visible.

Considering we have a ton of lights on behind this. You guys like check it out. We’Ve got lights, coming from the ceilings, RGB lights and just lights Galore. So we got our pixel over here set up my device, oh yeah! Well, that’s pretty pretty simple! I’Ve always done it manually, but setting it up through your phone looks like it’s uh, pretty easy. Let’S give this thing a fair shot and cut the lights like what are we doing and, of course, there’s an app which we already have over here. All right, setup’s complete all right, so we’re in, as you can see, we’re connected with Android TV now right now.

I’M not even sure what size of a screen this would be, but we can get from 40 inches all the way to 120.. You know I feel like we might as well. Just at this point we’re in the dark.

We should just be in the home theater section, look at that. We can just pick it up and go. This is a 150 inch screen and it’s rated to go up to 120, so we’re actually pushing it far past its limits and it’s actually doing a pretty good job here now I we do have a 120 inch screen that we’ll try it on later.

The 120

I just I just couldn’t wait. I wanted to see what it looks like in here so throw some YouTube: okay, okay, that’s actually pretty impressive hold on that volume is surprisingly loud. Those eight watt speakers are putting in work now.

This isn’t meant to really sit behind. You as you’re watching content more so in front of you, but the speakers we’re hearing the way they fire and they come. They come backwards pretty much and they’re really really loud.

Now, I’m not too surprised by the speaker sounding this good, because you know anchor has the sound core brand. They work heavily in audio. It’S a like.

It’S surprisingly bright right. You can still see it what’s crazy is that this is like really pushing it to its limits, because we’re keeping it as really far away from the screen the closer you’ll get to the screen, the brighter it’s going to be and look how much like it gets. Even brighter options like we’re a bit on the lighter side, this is like a serious book, but all right now, it’s time for the real test.

We got to take this thing outside now. What I like about something like this with this kind of form factor is: you can, like literally take it anywhere? If you want to take this thing to a certain part of the house that you’ve never thought about watching TV before, you absolutely could, if you want to have some kind of slumber party and have it playing on your ceiling, that’s all the possibility. Now I even think the speakers are good enough to use as a media device. I don’t know how efficient that is because you know you got the screen projecting just to have Spotify going, but I don’t know it still sounds kind of nice and it’s portable. So if you want to you could now what’s also kind of cool is that it does have an HDMI port. So if you want to connect a laptop and potentially have a bigger display to work with, you can use that or maybe, if you want to have some like portable gaming situation happening, I mean you got the HDMI port.

Why not now? I love the fact that this thing is running Android TV 11 because, like I said before, you get access to a ton of apps I mean Crunchyroll. Is all your boy needs it has that I’m good to go now. One of my favorite things is the fact that this thing has a built-in battery. Now on a single charge, you get up to two and a half hours of video streaming, so you can watch a really long movie, multiple, your average consumer videos. I mean you name it uh. This thing is definitely going to be able to provide enough for at least a good session, but there you have it guys.

This is the nebula capsule 3 laser, and I think this is pretty cool being able to take around up to 120 inches wherever you go like. This is not going to take up a lot of space in any backpack, and I think this is dope. Good quality. Really loud speakers definitely makes for a great time if you want to take this thing, camping go outdoors with it or maybe just have it in the backyard lots of cool options here and the form factor, just I really like it, but that about wraps it up.

For this video guys, hopefully you enjoyed it, you did be the cool guy girl that give this video a thumbs up I’ll catch you guys in the next one till, then it’s your average consumer peace all right guys. Where are we going? Is this going to get you to go outside more see how I mean maybe in the backyard? That’S that’s all. I can promise .
