Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “A closer look at LG’s crazy rollable display — CES 2016”.
They call me with the verge and we are finally seeing a working version up. Close of LG displays 18-inch roll bold screen – and this is probably one of the coolest things at CES this year. So that’s the most firmly delicate screen. We actually couldn’t touch it ourselves. One of the engineers here had to use latex gloves to bend it, but, as you can see, it’s really impressive you’re looking down at the screen that actually is just about HD and if it’s expanded, it’ll go up to you HD resolution.
The applications are basically endless. You can roll this up as a newspaper as we put in a previous post, and this will be applicable in TVs, smartphones and other applications.
