3D model your face into Fallout 4 — CES 2016

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “3D model your face into Fallout 4 — CES 2016”.
It’S only the first official day of CES and already I feel like I’ve, been in the wasteland of Las Vegas way too long. I’D almost rather be in Fallout 4s post-apocalyptic Boston right now. Well, as luck would have it, Intel is here to actually make that happen, and it’s gon na turn me into a fallout character with 3d camera technology. Here’S how it works. French startup uranium has developed software that uses intel’s realsense camera to make a 3d mesh of my head.

I just sit in this chair. While the tablet takes my pictures from all directions and then I wait for the app to build up my character. The 3d mesh goes straight into fallout 4 and before I know it, I’m running around the wasteland at a radiation suit. Now this is something that videogame companies have been trying to push forever. But in this case I have to say it’s a pretty effective use. So, stick around the verge comm for more coverage from CES all week and you can also subscribe to us at youtube.com.
