Guide your meditation with Muse's brain sensing headband — CES 2016

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Guide your meditation with Muse’s brain sensing headband — CES 2016”.
Lauren Josh here with the verge I’m using the muse brain sensing headband, it’s a device that uses EEG electrodes to measure your brain waves and help you meditate and calm your mind. Eeg is a proven medical technique that doctors use to diagnose things like epilepsy here, we’re using it for meditation. It’S supposed to measure patterns in your brainwaves and then tell you if your mind is really jumbled and thinking of lots of different things or if you’re, calm and you’re focusing on your breathing. I tried it out and apparently I’m not very calm at all.

I came up and down a lot and not sure if it’s because we’re in a terribly busy room or what was the case there, but it was an interesting experience and I really don’t think I need an app to tell me if I’m meditating correctly. I think my cleared mind will do that for me. At the end of the day, it felt much more stressful than it was worse for more information go to the verge calm.
