Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The Lexus LC 500 is a big, powerful, flagship coupe”.
Hey it’s Chris with Virg, and I am in the Lexus theater, which is really just a part of Cobo Hall, which is where the Detroit Auto Show is I’m standing in front of the Lexus LC. Now this is a large, very luxurious flagship coupe for Lexus and really it’s their flagship vehicle period. Pricing hasn’t been announced, but it’s not going to be cheaper. That’S the same engine as the RC F, which is Lexus, is slightly smaller, high-performance coupe.
So it’s going to be very high performance, we’re talking 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds, which is not bad for a car of this size. But let’s talk about its origins. This car came from the lf-lc concept which debuted at this very show four years ago. So it’s been a little while before this thing actually came to production but we’re here it’s going to debut as a 2017 model and it’s going to be in dealerships next year, not this year, but next they’re still testing this on the road. So hopefully, we’ll see more of this thing before the years out, maybe we’ll have an opportunity to test drive it, but for now there’s about as close as we get for more videos.
