The OnePlus Concept Phone has vanishing cameras..

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The OnePlus Concept Phone has vanishing cameras..”.
Hey guys right here at CES, 2020 checking out the 1 plus concept one and now internally. This is effectively a 1 plus 70 pro 5g McLaren Edition, but on the outside, it’s a little bit different. Now, what makes the 1 plus concept one especially special? Is it’s using a technology called electrochromic, a glass and effectively what this means is that you normally have glass that you can see through, but at the touch of a button you can actually fog up that glass. So that it’s kind of a fake, you can’t really see it at all.

Now you might have seen this technology in like a fancy hotel or a dream liner if you’ve flown on one of those where you can see out the windows when you want to you press a button and suddenly it gets darker. Now, there’s a variety of reasons. Why you might want to do this? One plus actually said that they took inspiration from a McLaren car which had a sunroof which was able to be opaque when they wanted to be opaque, and then it was allowed to allow and light when they wanted that.

But a surprising feature of this glass technology is the ability to kind of use this as an ND filter. Effectively. An ND filter is a neutral density filter.

It cuts the amount of light that is coming into the lens. This is actually really useful, because, if you’re able to cut the light coming into your lens, you can use a slower, shutter speed. You can do a lot of different things with photography, and so, besides the obvious reason of a lot of phones having a lot of cameras right now and it just looking kind of bad overall, that’s actually a very functional feature that I could see myself using no.1 Right now does not actually plan to ship this phone, although it is a really really nice looking phone, it’s got this gold aluminum framing.

It’S got this really beautiful glass. On the back and, of course, it’s using this nice papaya orange leather that we’ve seen in a lot of McLaren cars, I wish they were actually launching this because I’d love to get one for myself, but maybe they’ll be launching a similar phone in the future anyways. That’S just been a really quick look at the 1 plus concept one. What do you guys think? Are you excited about this phone? It’S not going to come out, but hopefully we’ll see a similar SPECT phone coming out soon.

So until next time stay tuned with our CES 20/20 coverage and I will catch you in the next article. .
