Chuwi Vi7 - How Cheap can a Tablet be? - Full Review | 4K

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Chuwi Vi7 – How Cheap can a Tablet be? – Full Review | 4K”.
Guys, it is a wonderful day i literally just woke up, looked out the window and smiled so what better thing to do with it than to film a tablet review, i’m mr who’s, the boss. This is the chuwi v7 and it’s about to fall out the window. I have never actually reviewed a tablet that is this cheap, coming in at just 68. This video is more of a test, a test to see whether a tablet so cheap can really perform all the functions of a higher end, one at a serviceable level. To begin with, the tablet looks nice, but unspectacular.

It does have rather large bezels a little bit larger than i’d like to see and it’s not particularly slim or light, but the buttons look and feel great and it doesn’t really attract too many fingerprints and it’s got a nice grippy plastic on the back so whipping Around the tablet was rather impressive. I was actually quite pleased by how it performed this is running android 5.1.1, which is also great to see the latest operating system on something this cheap. Fine by me, there is occasional lag and stuttering during sort of multitasking, especially if you’ve got loads of stuff open, but generally speaking, it’s actually quite good. So it scores 25 000 on antutu, which is clearly nowhere near top of the charts, but definitely is an acceptable level of performance. Now. One reason i was so curious to review this tablet is because of the cpu it’s running. This is running the intel sofia, chip which is brand new and actually promises to revolutionize the super entry level market and, to be honest, when you actually play games like down the mountain and you see them in action on a device so cheap, it’s really a sight To behold, the tablet plays about 90 to 95 of the android apps and games available on the store, and, generally speaking, it’s a pretty good experience, although this isn’t the best screen or the fastest processor, it generally runs well occasionally they’ll crash and some games are just Far too demanding for it now the screen is definitely not one of the v7 strong points. It’S a 7-inch 1024 by 600 affair and, although i’m normally an advocate of going with a slightly lower resolution, display to conserve battery and increase performance, they’ve gone a little bit too far here and for me personally.

This is too low resolution for an enjoyable experience, but then again, of course, you can still see exactly what’s going on and for younger users or less experienced users. It’S still functional the colors really are rather washed out, but then again one real bonus here is google play services, which means you get youtube, chrome and all that cool stuff in terms of audio the speaker isn’t actually too bad. It produces a pretty good volume with a decent amount of bass, but treble is definitely a bit too much and it does sound a bit tinny.

If you really enjoy your music, you may want to look at spending some more for just being able to operate the tablet. Listening to notifications and listening to the sounds on games, it’s perfectly serviceable. Unfortunately, the best thing i can say about the camera is that it takes photos and takes videos. It really is pretty appalling. It’S a 1.9 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 on the front and both kind of suck. But then again we can look at this. The other way it does support 720p hd, video and generally, by the time we get to this price.

A lot of manufacturers have totally cut the cameras, so at least having that option there enables us to use apps like skype and other video chat services. The internet browser is actually pretty decent. I could definitely see this tablet as just being something that sits in your living room if you want to be away from the computer, it loads pages at about half the speed of my ipad air 2, which is actually pretty decent.

If you think about how much weaker the components are, how much less optimization has gone into it, and also how much less powerful the wi-fi is, and also the scrolling is pretty buttery smooth. So in that sense, it’s nice. I found the battery to be a bit above average lasting a day of solid use and about 100 hours on standby and, while there’s only four gigabytes of available storage on the actual tablet, you do get support for another 32 gigs. So yet again guys. I’Ve never reviewed a tablet this cheap and it was very difficult to actually do so. It would have been so easy for me to just think. Okay, the ipad 2 is great, this one sucks, but then again the more you think about it. The more you realize, like these manufacturers, can’t really be making much profit at all you pay 68, and for that you get a movie watcher. You get an internet browser, you get a speaker system, two cameras and really a lot of features that people just take for granted. Nowadays, this is not the full-blown android experience, but it’s not as far off as you might think. Thanks for watching guys, i hope you enjoyed this video, you .
