Lets Break a Phone Case | 4K

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Lets Break a Phone Case | 4K”.
What is up guys, mr who’s, the boss here and we’ve all seen phone cases like this, the uag urban armor and they claim to have featherweight construction, incredible, build quality, superb damage resistance. Well, in this article, we’re just going to try and break it. So this is an expensive case, a lot more than i would usually like to pay. It costs around 30 dollars and for that we’re gon na see if you’re really getting anything more than maybe a ten dollar case. So, starting with the scissor test – and you can see that with a pair of scissors just basically pressing very lightly on it, it’s slicing like clay.

This case has next to no resistance against scratches, which is not a great start. Next up the throat test, i’m going to chuck this thing as far as i possibly can because, well to be honest, i kind of just really wanted to throw something, but you can actually see this is quite useful when it lands it’s very easy to spot because Of its bright vibrant colours, that’s probably part of the design. Now, as you would expect, it’s still totally unmarked, apart from the initial scratches, but now using a couple of household items, i’m going to basically whack it with the equivalent of a hammer. Now this nail, i’m using, is actually a plastic nail, but it’s very very sharp. I’Ve cut myself on it before and you can see the structural strength here is very high.

It seems to actually be doing literally nothing. It feels more like i’m working, my fingers right now so far so good, but now i’m gon na be putting my full weight on it. Basically, jumping up and down like a baby trying to destroy this goddamn case, but to be quite fair, it seems to be having none of it.

The uag urban armor is actually holding up extremely well to my test. So far, it’s obviously dusty, but otherwise quite impressively. Still unscathed, but don’t worry guys, i’ve got another idea, so we’re now in my kitchen and as you can see right behind, that is my microwave.

So, wouldn’t it be a great idea just to set the timer on 10 minutes and put the case in on full blast yeah. That sounds pretty good to me, see nowhere on the packaging. Do they actually mention heat resistance? They talk about how rugged and durable is, and i can only assume this is part of it, but apparently they maybe missed out heat protection after just one minute 20. This thing is absolutely fried. It now looks more like something you might see on a dessert menu than a phone case: okay, yeah, that’s totally done for anyway, guys the uag case is kind of interesting.

I think it’s actually a really good, looking and durable case most of the time, but if you’re planning on making iphone brownies or htc fritters, this one isn’t going to cope too well, thanks for watching guys. I hope you enjoyed this video and don’t forget to hit that subscribe button. You .
