EGX - The Best Games and Tech | 4K

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “EGX – The Best Games and Tech | 4K”.
So over the last few days I was lucky enough to be invited to e GX, which is the UK’s biggest game, show welcome to the highlights, so I’ve never been to a game show before this one. So you can imagine, I was extremely excited and to be fair. I had my mind blown that day at least four times almost every corner I turned there was some sort of surprise lurking there. It was an amazing place and if you haven’t been, I recommend you go. There was all the future. The upcoming games, the current games right next to all the retro games games, we’ve not seen in generations. There were people who look like they’d spent the last two years, designing their costumes, and I was amazing, its kind of that one place where everyone could just let loose and be who they want to be. There were people from Final Fantasy people from alien vs, predator, Mario Luigi and everything else in between. There were pinball machines, a war game section and a PC, the size of about two small children, and it is the most expensive pc I’ve ever seen, costing over 7,000 pounds. You can imagine, it’s spec sheet was pretty mouth watering and the best bit it was plugged into a sub. Full HD monitor had a little bit of hands-on time with a game called elite, dangerous which, for some reason, actually had a whole section of the whole to itself. It seemed like a pretty normal game to be honest, nothing that I’ve not seen before it has loads of flashy effects, but I don’t really think ship fighting is for me. Destiny also made quite a bit appearance, but it didn’t really seem to have the kind of initial impact that it used to.

I think the sort of novelty of the whole thing is wearing off, although there’s still one of the better looking games out there. Now I’ve always been a big fan of Ratchet and Clank, so you can imagine. I was pretty happy to have about half an hour of hands-on time with the new one for playstation 4 and it’s exactly as I would have expected it to be.

It’S basically the ps3 ones, but even more souped-up, it looks incredible. Colorful, vibrant, smooth, really really sharp, as well as being shown the latest games. You could actually participate in them.

There were tournaments all over the place. You know Assassin’s Creed, syndicate, black ops, 3 halo Guardians, people were actually playing against each other in sort of online multiplayer matches, and it was really really nice community. The 3d has made a huge appearance.

It was everywhere there was monster hunter that was Mario, that is Pokemon. There was all sorts of things, and so you can imagine my disappointment when I saw this in the PlayStation section. This is all they had for the PlayStation Vita.

It’S not salute shamble. So as much as we really hate to admit it, it does very much seem, but the Vita is no longer even a consideration for Sony. The razer blackwidow chroma is amazing, even if it is pretty trippy asus al today, whole new range of gaming laptops and it’s pretty much more of the same.

It wasn’t too much excitement about this stuff, but nonetheless, there packing serious power under the hood mobile gaming at over 1080p is starting to become a reality and, speaking of reality, I managed to actually escape from it listing the HTC booth. They were actually demoing their vive technology and let me tell you it is mind-blowing, but I will actually make a separate video on that. Just because of how much there is to say turtle.

Beach was also there, but I don’t think many people actually noticed. Then we managed to see some black ops, 3 and I’d say it’s. Finally, looking good the company have just managed to clear up their visuals.

It looks very much in line with most next-gen titles. It’S colorful, vibrant and there’s plenty going on, but while it doesn’t feel like they’ve really changed it too much from advanced warfare, they definitely expanded the customization options and I’ve. No doubt the offline modes and zombies will be amazing.

Tearaway unfolded, which is a follow on from the PS Vita exclusive tearaway, looks absolutely fantastic on the PlayStation 4. It’S really taken advantage of the system’s power. The halo Q was absolutely massive, so I really couldn’t be bothered to wait in it. This is the best footage.

I managed to get, but it seems to be a lot smoother and more polished than previous versions, but again not really too different, they’ve stuck to what they know works. You may remember a game called worms designed by team 17. This was one of my childhood favorites, but their new game worms wmd just feels like more of the same they’ve introduced, hanks and buildings. You can actually go inside to hide, but I can’t see this game being a sellout success. Now I actually got to try PlayStation VR as well, and it was good. It was quite a nice experience, playing the set of karting game and being able to sort of look around, but I didn’t feel truly immersed in it. The resolution wasn’t fantastic and it is just your head that you can move which, when you compare it to HTC vive technology, where you can actually walk around inside these virtual worlds is a little bit underwhelming. There is a huge section for indie games, which seems to be the up and coming next thing.

Scanner at UK was showing off three 4k monitors right next to each other playing AMD’s eyefinity technology. We got our first look at some ultra portable steam boxes. Pc is set to compete with consoles and xenoblade chronicles on the wii. U looks amazing for the platform it’s on, if not exactly like a cross between monster hunter and final fantasy.

To be honest, the wii? U section, was a total mixed bag. Splatoon went down really well was playing on the big screen in the middle of the hall, but then we heard games like this, which I just did not understand why they were on show. When people go to a game, show like egx, they don’t just go for the games, it’s kind of like a an experience to be immersed in that gaming, world and yeah. I mean you just walk around there and they set up a whole scene which is actually reminiscent of one of the areas in the new assassin’s creed game.

I thought that was really really cool. I saw dare CX, I met Yogscast, here’s some food and this is a pig thanks, a lot for watching guys. I really appreciate it and, let me know, have you ever been to a game show. What was your experience like you, .
