The Best Budget Sports Camera for 2016?

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The Best Budget Sports Camera for 2016?”.
Gopro has undoubtedly become a household name, but is it just about to be replaced, let’s find out in this article, so my current sport camera of choice is the gopro hero4 black, a 4k recording 300 pound mini sports camera and right in front of you, you see The le cam, which is by telephone manufacturer elephone, who make the p 8000 the p 7000 lots of really really good smartphones. So I was actually quite surprised to see this product from them and it costs just under 50 pounds. So, let’s find out what that actually gets you, the other cam, has a really nice weighty, feel in the hands. It has micro SD card support up to 128 gigs. It has micro USB for charging, which is really convenient and HDMI out for actually streaming on to a screen. It can also connect via Wi-Fi to an Android or iOS device, so you can use those as a sort of large screen which is really really useful.

Inside the box you have more accessories than I could ever actually seen. Probably ever on a product. We’Ve got the typical waterproof case, which is really nice to see an amount for just about any possible scenario. You can click this onto a tripod onto your head onto any sticky object or pretty much anything else that your imagination can muster on the back of the camera. We actually have a two inch display and this is far from HD, but it actually makes navigating the device much much simpler than using something like the GoPro. With its tiny TFT front panel and yeah, you can very easily flick between the different modes, so you can take video photos, 16 megapixel, and then we also have slow motion capture now. The slight problem here is that, although this is a 4k camera on paper, it does only take 4k at 15 frames per second more on that later.

So anyway, the competing GoPro, which I’m about to show you footage of, is a 300 pound camera. So you can see walking around a very poorly lit environment. It actually copes surprisingly well.

The footage you’re seeing here is actually 4k at 30 frames per second, which is really really impressive. So, obviously, for the price difference, the yellow cam is not competing directly against the GoPro. It’S competing more against the likes of sj4000, which is a camera that cost about 40 pounds, but produces some pretty good image quality and it’s probably one of the more popular devices on the market.

But the reason I’m comparing it to the GoPro is just because of how impressive the footages this is the recording at 1080p at 60 frames per second, and it’s silky smooth. It’S actually handling the low lighting conditions really really well. You can see that compared to the GoPro there’s a slight yellowish tinge, but in terms the actual detail, maybe there’s a tiny bit more noise, but quality is pretty much on par.

Even quad. Hd is handled perfectly, but you can see that when we actually moved to 4k, it becomes more of a moving slide, show audio becomes a bit stuttery and the actual video output is just not smooth enough for general day-to-day use. Having said that, stabilization is really really strong here and outdoor shots come out rather crisp. The slow motion is also a real high point.

It actually slows down four times, so you get a really really nice effect and still retains an HD resolution there. We go guys that is the le cam. It has a really really nice build quality, almost all the features you could want and performance to match.

It has more accessories than you can even think about using, and so in conclusion, this is an outstanding product. Thanks for watching guys, I’m missing who’s the boss – and this really is .
