The Most Bizarre Smartphone we've seen all year.

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The Most Bizarre Smartphone we’ve seen all year.”.
I think one thing that none of us can deny is: we’ve come across some very, very strange smartphones on this channel, but today I think we’ve got a true winner. This is the sharp a cross s2 and it is truly bizarre. It’S a phone which has no setup when you turn it on. For the first time within 10 seconds, you are literally sitting there on the home screen. It has one of the most and used your camera arrangements. I’Ve ever seen kind of similar to the iPhone 10, but without any highlighting so it kind of looks lost in the rear of the smartphone, and the same goes for the flash module. With most smartphones, manufacturers tie the flash module in so it looks integrated with the phone’s design. Here it is completely loose. It almost looks like a wart on someone’s face.

Let’S not forget that when you look closer at these two cameras, one of these lenses is about five times the area of the other one, a very strange now the oddities do not end there. The a cross s2 is the first time on a smartphone. I’Ve ever had to use warm water to peel off the back sticker. It’S also got a not just for the camera, which is very strange only ever seen on one other phone apart from this, that is the essential phone, but if you think we’re done, there take a look at the top two edges or as most phones.

At this point, just have flat displays or displays that curve with the form of the phone the equals s2 has a diagonal slant inwards completely nonsensical. This must be more expensive to achieve than just a straight up flat panel and at the same time it doesn’t look anywhere near as good as a curved one. Amazingly, it doesn’t end there.

Let’S take a bit of a deeper dive, so what happens to a phone when the company thinks both 16 to 9 and 18 to 9 s pair ratios are both overdone. They use a 17 to 9 completely unnecessary, but that is what we’ve got over here now. I would say that most first party applications really take good advantage of the screen space.

They work around the knotch and they fill almost all of the display. All the time and speaking of the display, we’re working with a 5.5 inch 24 T by 1080 LCD here, which is actually super bright and also pretty good when it comes to colour reproduction. It’S quite reminiscent of the LCD panels that HTC used to use in their one series of phones, it’s good and even side by side with top-tier flagships. It’S not a one-way battle. Unfortunately, as you might have guessed about, 0 third party applications actually support. This very specific aspect ratio, an obvious solution in my opinion to this is simply removing that sharp logo and extending the screen a little bit more and just in 1810, an aspiration, as with a lot of phones released this year, the phone is primarily made of glass And aluminium definitely not a bad thing.

What I would say there is the glass seen on this. Smartphone is a little bit less high-grade than seen on more expensive flagships. There was a little bit of a flex to it and he does also feel a little bit on the plastic east side. On the other hand, it’s extremely light and when you combine that with the high screen to body ratio on the front of the phone, it makes it feel like a small compact and nifty little device, not to mention the aluminium trim going around.

The sides feels just as premium as it doesn’t any other phone and the chrome accents on the buttons are definitely a nice touch on the base model of the a cross s to wear packing a Snapdragon 630 and four gigs of RAM. That’S a pretty good spec sheet, considering this is a sub $ 300 smartphone. There is a very slight perceptible lag when you’re using the phone, which is not unusual for phone at this price, but at the same time, is definitely worth pointing out. It doesn’t feel quite as responsive as a phone like the Google pixel 2, but on the less it pretty much breezes through the UI multitasking is Swift and it’s good to see the animations move along at a nice pace in terms of benchmarks.

I’Ve got to say I was actually expecting it to do a little bit better than this. It certainly feels faster to use than its score would suggest, but this definitely implies that this is not going to handle the top-tier 3d games. You might want to play in most aspects of the UI.

It feels pretty indistinguishable from a Snapdragon 800 series processor, but some high-end games and apps will test that camera wise. This phone really took me aback. It’S got a dual 12 megapixel sensor and the primary lens here has an F, 1.8 aperture, that’s kind of surprising and safe to say this is a working to your camera. This isn’t one of those fake ones that doesn’t actually create a proper depth of field effect. This works, I would say, shutter time was slightly on the slower side.

It creates this little loading wheel. Every time you take a photo, but when you do even in lower lighting conditions, detail is definitely there. The vibrancy of the photos does leave a little bit to be desired, but of course that can be adjusted afterwards. The detail itself is present. Portrait mode works pretty well too for the price, but what is really great was a continuous autofocus on the video. This is only 1080p video recording no 4k here, but the focus time is so fast. It felt very much like a more expensive camera. Given how light the phone is. I was pretty impressed. They managed to include a three thousand and twenty million power battery with this you’re. Looking at a comfortable day of you, it doesn’t offer too much more and it falls a little bit short when it comes to standby time, but battery life is generally pretty.

Okay, all right guys, that is a sharp, a cross s2 and, as I said, fascinating bizarre strange unusual. All of these words kind of describe the phone, but don’t quite capture just how many odd decisions were made here. It’S actually not at all about phone, and in fact some of these odd decisions make it a refreshingly unique experience to use. It takes a lot of boxes. The cameras great the battery life is good screen is pretty fantastic, and so I can definitely give this phone a thumbs up. There is also a plus model available, but to be honest, I don’t really recommend it. It’S a lot more expensive for a benefit that will not be felt very often. I do hope you enjoy the video and, if you did, it really would be appreciated. If you could subscribe to the website.
