Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The LG G7 has a Big Problem.”.
Lg has now officially announced their next flagship. Firm is launching on May the second and over the course of its development, it seems to have had a bit of an identity change. The phone won’t be called. The g7 is expected, but in fact the g7 think you unless to say this device has a bit of a problem, in fact, there’s a few but first and most obviously look at the top of the phone. Yes, it has a notch, but that’s not really the full issue.
You see people seem to have this vendetta against notches, but honestly they’re not quite as problematic as some make them out to be. Until the tech comes out to embed sensors and cameras within the display or behind it. You have the choice to either have a notch and some display right to the very top of the phone or just a thick black bezel. Personally, I’d pick the notch.
The problem here, in fact, is the LG has picked the worst of both worlds. We’Ve got a notch, yes, but it looks like we’ve also got a bezel that is basically large enough to house all the sensors in any way. You would have actually had more display in this case, if you just shifted that bezel down a tiny little bit and got rid of a notching tighly. Okay, so not a good start, but then you’ve got that name.
Thinkyou is a platform of LG’s in which each product can communicate with one another. It also tells us that the g7 phone will come with built in AI and machine learning. Where have we heard that before okay? But this in itself, it’s not really the issue.
The problem is that this phone’s name switch indicates a shift in direction towards the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, as if this is some sort of new selling point. But as we’ve seen with hallways phones, just previously, AI isn’t developed enough to be able to offer people tangible benefits, and it seems unlikely that LG is gon na, be the one bringing in the next era of intelligence Khloe. Am i ready on my wash rinse cycle? Even robots have bad days Chloe what’s for dinner tonight, okay Chloe is not gon na talk to me.
The g-seven think you is coming with one hardware: key that isn’t the volume rocker and isn’t the power button, and that has left people pretty certain. It’S an AI button and what we really don’t need from LG right now is another Bigsby. The g7 will be a defining moment for the company who recently took a step back after concerning sales figures and announced that they were pivoting changing strategies completely. They then delayed their g7 phone from an expected release at Mobile World Congress to make sure it was something special.
So yeah we don’t know if the g7 think you is gon na have some yet to be revealed killer feature. But I guess all we can do in the meantime is pray for the sake of LG that AI integration isn’t it. The company has made a rather concerning statement about this, though, that they have stopped looking at new features and functions and are instead focusing on giving customers and more convenient user experience.
