Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “PUBG MOBILE on Android – Disastrous or Revolutionary?”.
All right, you’ve, probably heard of pop G, this game has sort of come out of nowhere and smashed all manner of industry records. Well now it’s finally come to mobile the same giant, sprawling open world in your hands. It’S on both Android and iOS, and I’ll leave. Both links down below so the question is: does it suck for those of you who are unfamiliar with the game? Pop G or player, unknowns battlegrounds places you and 99 others in a plane that is fly above an island.
You then choose when to jump out and try to parachute to cover, or your gather resources pick up weapons and then try to become the last man standing, there’s also an arcade mode coming soon, which has only 28 players and creates a spin on the original game. Like only sniper rifles or melee only and as a premise, this is all pretty exciting, but also brings up some obvious doubts. Can your smartphone actually run something like this properly? That sounds complicated as hell 3? Oh dear, a fully fledged shooter on a phone.
What are the controls like and number four? It’S a free game and a house in app purchases. Does this become a problem to address the elephant in the room? Yes, your phone almost definitely can played a game. I pulled up my moto g5, an entry-level phone from over a year ago, and even that could play but game. This is important for the way the game works, as you’ll often need to spot enemies from far away, but it also means it has a very genuine open-world feel to it. There is also support for dynamic lighting and shadows. Just take a look at how the reflections and the shadows are changing, even just as you look around and pub G is also a game that supports 89 aspect ratios by default. Curiously, there’s even an Ultra HD version coming very mysterious. Okay, so in terms of compatibility and in terms of graphics, the company has knocked it out the park, but the game has a lot of different mechanics. Does this make it too complicated for the other people to find on the game already pros to the point where you’ll get pasted? The second you touch down. Thankfully, the answer to both of these questions is a definite.
No, I got ta say I like the approach to tutorials here. I was a little concerned that, because of the relatively complex nature of the game, I’d be in training exercises for the first hour. The tutorials are there, but it explains everything in a pretty digestible way and can be completely skipped if you know what you’re doing it also helps you out in game. It’Ll give you warnings that tell you you should be making a run for it and preventing you picking up pieces of equipment that are outright worse than ones you’ve already got.
These are smart and subtle decisions and, as you might have guessed, this is not cross play with the PC version, which means the skill level you’ll find on average is significantly lower, which, on balance, is a good thing. There’S a decent mix of people who are playing for the first time and people who are clearly more experienced, which means that no matter, your skill level, you will be among people who are on a similar level, but just don’t expect to win a game on your First, go having said that I’d count myself as a pretty average player in these kinds of games and was regularly killing five others before I was taken down. Speaking of death, though, when you do die, allies have a window of time to help you, but more often than not they just don’t whether or not it’s, because the game doesn’t do a good job of alerting them. Well, they just don’t feel like it.
It can be frustrating watching them walk straight past you in your time of need, but nonetheless, when you do die, it feels like your fault. There aren’t many cheap deaths here, which is a good thing, as pub G is derived from a PC title. The pace of the game is slower than what you’re probably used to most mobile games are catering for a casual 10 minutes on the way to work. This is much more of a sit down with a cup of tea kind, a game. Having said that, it’s far from boring all there might be five whole minutes between any two firefights. There is a lot to think about between them. You’Ll need to constantly upgrade your weapons and equipment, you’ll be avoiding the red zones where bombs are going to be dropped. Communicating with your team members via voice chat, whilst all the time moving towards the center of the map battleground becomes more restricted and because you’re making so many decisions all the time.
Every kill feels like a product of your labor and skill. There’S a few thrills, quite like you on a mobile phone controls, they aren’t perfect, but they do feel about as good as they could. I have on occasion found myself accidentally firing instead of jumping or covering the ambient light sensor on my phone when trying to sprint which has made the display brightness drop all the way down. But these mishaps are few and far between and I would say, the controls are good enough for you to get lost in the gameplay.
That’S all you can really ask for on a touchscreen and that’s what our last concern of the en app purchases a lot of people’s primary concern. I was pretty relieved when it came to it. Don’T get me wrong, they are there all right, but there’s almost nothing. You can buy with in-game currency or real that actually gives you a leg up in battle.
The game offers visual upgrades that are enticing for sure, but every victory or defeat still feels fair, and that is a balance that is quite hard to crack. With this kind of revenue structure, alright, so in conclusion, pub G on mobile is a bit of a surprise hit considering how buggy the initial PC release was. I was not expecting a mobile version that runs this flawlessly. The gorgeous vistas you’re fighting the popping of guns in the distance and the thrill of hearing a nearby door slam open, knowing that there is not somebody else in the same building.
These all add up to a realistic battle experience and he can quite quickly understand how it’s taken the world by storm. Now the official social media page is off pub G, the Facebook and the Twitter.
