In the places where you’re hearing properly hear through is turned on – and here are my variety of settings for how i want it to behave so there’s three presets there’s boost, there’s clear and there’s quiet you can see within the quiet setting my left and right ear Are being treated a little bit differently, i can also go into hearing eq here and boost on the left or right or i can link them. We have feedback cancellation because there’s microphones right beside speakers and we also have noise reduction. This is the opposite effect, and this now is like kind of like a noise cancellation, at least that’s the way. It sounds to me.

Yeah, there’s just kind of like a just like a general awareness and then up here that’s gone, hear through turned off and i’ll. Just go over and play some music here. The main thing i want to do in this article was actually test if i could increase or improve my hearing.

I’M hearing, like i heard him, say, broken or i feel like i’m hearing the mid part of the word, not the interesting thing, yeah the beginning and the end kind of tail off for me dinosaur, medicine, ivermectin ivermectin. I can basically find where the fan is on the eq and get rid of it, although there’s a lot of cross over here. We have two giant speakers on either side of this desk and they’re gon na surround us with the sounds of a cafe, we’re gon na simulate being in a cafe and i’m gon na play with the settings a bit.

I’M gon na try to cut out most of the cafe noise and zero in on moe’s voice exclusively testing testing, see if this is helping making it better testing one two three. You know that water i gave you earlier. I kind of regret it because now i want that water and there’s no more water left in the studio.

We just did this. This is it’s interesting, because every every scenario is going to be different. Noise is wild frequencies, man all right.

So here’s the way. I look at this. You have a company that really leaned into the transparency idea, a feature which i’ve tried on a few headphones up until this point, but with limited configuration options with these, you can go in there and toggle it manually and and really dial it in. For your specific hearing yeah, it’s just like a real amp yeah, because you don’t get the fish uh bowl effect, where you feel like your head’s gon na explode, or anything like that. Now. As far as your results are concerned, these are targeted at people with mild to medium hearing loss. So your ability to get results here kind of depends on where you’re starting from to begin with. But the main thing for me is just having a very nice transparency mode with the ability to manipulate it. You can still hear me, but now not the environment.

I can hear me perfectly, and i can hear you perfectly, but it feels like we’re like floating in space, particularly my favorite. One is the quiet mode, it’s not robotic at all, it’s not over amplified. It is very like natural, sound, like sounding this is a transparency mode that kind of mimics not having them there at all.

That’S probably the key feature for me. Oh and the other thing worth mentioning, is you have the hearing health stuff and the hearing history, so you can track your hearing loss over time. [ Applause ], the external noise decibel meter, as well as the hearing history within the app, can act as an indication for you.

If you are doing damage to your hearing and it’s all built into your earbuds, which is kind of a nice place to have it. The other thing i like in here is the music eq believe it or not. This is not something you always get and if you do get it sometimes you’re lacking the ability to really get in there on a granular level.
