$70 Speaker Setup - Does it Sound Any Good?

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “$70 Speaker Setup – Does it Sound Any Good?”.
What’S up folks how’s it going, this is waj hope you guys are all doing well and for a while now i was searching for a really affordable audio solution for my secondary pc, slash laptop setup, and i wanted to spend as little money as possible while getting The best quality and what you’re looking at is the end result. This is a speaker and amplifier combination that costs around the 70 dollar mark. It specifically contains the daytona audio b652 bookshelf speakers and the lepi lp 2024, a hi-fi stereo amplifier. Now, looking at the daytona audio b652 bookshelf speakers, these have a watt rating of 40 watts, rms they’re 6 ohm speakers and they have a frequency response curve from 70 to 20 000 hertz, which is fairly standard in terms of the drivers themselves.

You have a single six and a half inch polypropylene cone woofer and for the treble frequencies you have a single 5 8 inch, polycarbonate dome tweeter, which does a decent job of replicating all your high-end frequencies. In terms of the sound quality itself, i would say it’s definitely not bad, nothing that will completely blow you out of the water, but keep in mind that the speakers themselves, retail for under 30 dollars for that price range. It’S absolutely worth every penny. Now the lepi mini stereo amplifier has a total power output of 20 watts per channel with a signal to a noise ratio of about 98 decibels. In terms of input connectivity, you have a 3.5 millimeter connection for pretty much anything out there, whether that be a phone laptop or desktop pc. You also have rca connection for a turntable or a small home theater like setup at the front of the unit.

You’Ll find a large volume knob with a blue led ring around it, as well as two tone controls for bass and treble as well as a tone, a bypass push switch. So that way you can toggle the tone controls on and off, which is pretty handy. I definitely like to use the tone controls, especially to increase the bass frequencies and the treble, sometimes in order to make the system sound a little bit more full and more dynamic.

The only real major concern that i have right now is that the volume itself is not tremendously loud, which is not a big deal, because in most scenarios i’m not going to be cranking. The speaker system anyways, and it’s going to be perfectly fine in the small room that it’s going to go in, but really on that guys. That’S related! If you want more information check out the description and down below for detailed links and uh. Generally speaking for around that 70 mark, i’m very very happy with this.

If you are interested in finding some kind of budget stereo solution for your computer or for anything else, definitely give this thing a shot. If you don’t have a lot of money to spend, but besides that, thanks for watching thanks for your support and we’ll see, you later take care. .
