The WhiteKnightTwo, a custom-built aircraft carrier and SpaceShipTwo, the world’s first spaceship built by a private company and operated in a commercial capacity..
The WhiteKnightTwo is actually the ferry for the SpaceShipTwo.. Its large custom-built frame with two fuselages carries four engines.. It is designed to take the SpaceShipTwo to a height of roughly 50,000 feet.. This concept of air-launching may not be new by any means, but when it comes to commercial flight is safer and more energy-efficient..
The star of the show truly is the SpaceShipTwo.. It’S a reusable winged spacecraft designed to carry eighty people and two pilots into space with a large amount of frequency.. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, they oversee 45,000 daily flights.. I would imagine that Virgin Galactic aims to see those numbers someday for their space adventures..
