Hello everyone.If, you buy an Mg4, they are giving you a 220 volts wall charger which comes with 10 amps rated current., Don’t mistaken the head. The charging head supports 13 amps, but the charger can give you maximum ten amps, and here I have the best seller on AliExpress 3.5 kilowatt hours, charger, which is called Feyree from Feyree brand, and it supports hold on a second here, one phase: 16 amps type 2.. So we’ll see if this $ 100 aliexpress charger gives more energy or the charger comes with the Mg4.. Let’S see.
The budget, FEYREE EV charger can give 2.5 kilowatt hours from a 220 watts wall plug.. Actually, it can also give 3.5 kilowatt hours., But the plug that we are using only can give us 14.9 amps.. That’S why we are getting 2.5 kilowatt hours at the moment., So we are getting 202 volts, 14.9 amps..
That is why we cannot get 3.5 kilowatt hours at the moment, because the voltage also is not enough.. Now, let’s try the Mg charger.. So, as you can see with the Mg charger, we can only get 1.2 kilowatt hours.. The rated current is ten amps for the Mg charger, but actually with ten amps, we should get 2.2 kilowatt hours. It is that bad. We can only get 1.2 kilowatt hours.
And actually the plug we are using is capable to give 14.9 amps.. So there is nothing wrong with the infrastructure that we are using. 1.2 kilowatt hours.. It is really bad., As we just figured out that MG’s charger is awful..
The Budget Aliexpress charger is actually pretty awesome.. Yes, we get 2.5 kilowatt hours here., But when I tried with another wall plug with a better infrastructure that can give 16 amps, this charger gave 3.5 kilowatt hours for my car., But, as we just saw the infrastructure that we used for this video gave us 14.9 Amps anc, this charger only need ten amps., But even the infrastructure supports ten amps.. We only got 1.2 kilowatt hours, which is awful and takes approximately 52 hours to charge Mg4 Luxury version, the 64 kilowatt hours version..
