Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “2023 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring – Day In The Life”.
What’S up y’all welcome to the day in the life of the brand new 2023 Honda Accord, Hybrid touring, we have it in this Canyon, River, blue colorway and honestly, it’s giving navy blue Vibes with the hint of green and I’m personally a fan of it. Now, there’s a lot of mixed opinions on this design, but I personally think it looks super clean and minimal and clearly that’s what Honda was going for. Honda did a really great job at hiding some of these sensors in the front of this vehicle. Now, let’s move over to the back and let’s see what we have here once again very minimal approach. Here Honda went for a very small logo, which is quite interesting because nowadays everybody puts like very big badges in the back of their vehicles and just the way it curves down is giving very much Audi Vibes. So now I’m gon na head over to the gas station put a full tank on this vehicle.
So you can get an idea of how it holds up during the day and, let’s see if it’s really a hybrid. There is so much Tech in this cabin and that’s why I love this interior. I’D say my favorite piece of tech is a gauge. It is super customizable and very Dynamic.
For instance, right if I hit the brakes, I could actually see the brake lights cut on on this car at night. If I turn on the headlights, I can see the headlights if I have adaptive cruise control as well as steering assist. I can actually see the vehicles in front of me and the vehicles beside me.
It almost reminds me of a Tesla, so the cord uses regular gas. It has this push to open door, which is super convenient, no fuel cap. This should be a standard with all vehicles like don’t know why it still isn’t.
Let’S go ahead and put gas, I love pumps that use tap to pay. It’S a super convenient, so full tank puts me at 458 miles and I’ve been averaging 36.9 miles per gallon. It’S 12 19.. I am pretty hungry, so I’m gon na find some food to eat using the Google Assistant, Okay, Google, restaurants, nearby Italian Eatery 0.1 miles away. Thank you.
If you are ever in the South Carolina area check out the Larder it’s over in Hammonds Ferry. It’S super good, but I’m really hungry, so I’m gon na go ahead and eat. Doesn’T she look beautiful now, look at this chicken biscuit yo that chicken biscuit was so good um. Now we’re gon na head over to grab some vertical content for the Galaxy 54, which I’m reviewing this week, and one thing that I do want to talk about is just the attention to details in this cabin, like the buttons are very tactile.
There’S textures on all the knobs and, honestly speaking, just like listen to this. We just love hitting buttons. Don’T we so the shoe was successful. Now we’re heading to Lowe’s to pick up a filter for the AC, and one thing that I don’t talk about.
Is this 12.3 inch panel? What I love most about? It is the actual softer experience. This is probably the best offer experience I’ve had on a vehicle of this category, like literally just scrolling through it. It’S super fluid. It has a Play Store built in Google maps and the Google assistant. So at any point you can literally say: Okay, Google turn up the air conditioning, got it turning down the temperature by four degrees. So, as you can see, you can use it to pretty much control the functions of the vehicle, which is super useful. Another thing that’s really nice is that it’s very customizable look at this. There’S always like this bow tie display panel.
Here you have, and you can log in with your Google account, so you can see it says: Victor’s fits on the right corner and I can easily access carplay or Android auto if you’re an Android user and on the left hand side, you always have these buttons. So you have the home button, the back button, Google Assistant maps and the radio button. The only thing that I don’t like is the fact that I can’t figure out the auto dimming function. I don’t know if it has it or doesn’t have it, but for some reason at night it just stays this bright and literally I’m driving the car.
The whole time like like this, and I can’t literally figure it out the backup camera system is nice. You have these multiple view options. My favorite one is this one, because you can kind of see almost like a top view. So if there’s a carb nearby, you don’t have to worry about hitting it and look at that perfect parking got the filters. It’S probably kind of bad that I haven’t had filters for the last two months, but now I have them.
So that’s all that matters and y’all. This trunk is like stupid. Something that’s really cool is the fact that you have paddle shifters, but they don’t work like traditional paddle shifters.
It’S pretty much a regenerative braking so watch right. Now, I’m gon na break using the shifters. That is quite unfortunate because this used to be known, as you know, a sleeper car, and now they switch the paddle shifters from freaking being real paddle shifters to whatever this is it’s cool, though, because it almost reminds me of a Tesla or just an electric car. You don’t have to necessarily drive with both pedals to end off the day I had around 420 miles left on this car, with just under 40 miles per gallon average.
I switched between normal and sport mode, the majority of the day, I’d say for someone who likes to have a lot of fun on the road that is not bad at all. Taking the wheel of the 202300 cord feels like a full circle moment, especially having growing up with a 99 and 2005 model in the family. The refined Aesthetics of the latest model radiates a sense of luxury.
That’S not usually synonymous with the Honda brand. I really feel like Google integration should have been a standard with all the trim levels and there’s random things missing, like a 360 camera system to panoramic moonroof, which you would expect at this price point to be completely honest with all of you. I’Ve driven a Camry, and I prefer this because it’s more Innovative in my opinion, if you have any questions, drop them down below because I’ll be uploading some shorts to help you answer some of them. This is Victor kamanga with another everything out of video. Thanks for watching bye, .
