Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “2018 Apple Mac mini Unboxing”.
What’S up folks how’s it going this watch hope you guys are all doing well, as you can see, i have some new apple products. We have the gorgeous new uh 12.9 inch ipad pro already unboxed. I’M testing out we’re going to be featuring it so upcoming content, but we’re going to be unboxing specifically this thing over here. This is the new six core mac mini: let’s go ahead and switch to the overhead camera and see what comes inside the box.
So, as you can see, the box is super compact. In fact, the ipad pro is almost twice the size and at the back you can see the configuration we pretty much have the baseline configuration of the six core 3.2 gigahertz model. We have eight gigabytes of ram and 256 uh internal storage, which is uh plenty and we’re going to be updating the ram.
So that’s definitely not a problem. I’M going to slide that off and there is the mac mini itself. As you can see, there’s no wastage of any packaging whatsoever, you’re pretty much right on the cardboard edge and looks very similar to the previous generation.
Has that nice space gray finish and there you go? There’S the mac mini itself, super compact, very lightweight. We have a little cover for the i o, so let’s just remove that, and there is the i o, the plethora of connections, which is definitely missing from the new generation of uh pcs. That apple is producing so a lot of usbc’s or thunderbolt connections.
We have a full-size hdmi, two usb 3.0 as a power button. This is actually just a gigabit ethernet, but you can get 10 gigabit upgrade and even a headphone jack. If you want to connect this to a steering, we have like a little outport for the ventilation.
We’Re definitely going to stress this thing out and see what the core temperatures are like and see if it’s going to overheat or not, but hopefully the cooling system will help. Let’S keep diving in this is obviously just some user guide information. Some apple stickers, standard stuff and looks like this is just the power cable, so pretty simple and straightforward, and the power supply is built into the unit, so no surprises there and let’s just see, if there’s anything else, nope and that’s all you get.
But besides that guys, that’s really it, as you can see not a whole lot to unbox with a new apple products as to be expected. We’Re going to be featuring the new mac mini and a whole bunch of upcoming content, including benchmark tests. We’Re going to be upgrading the ram and we’re even going to be building a custom, mini hackintosh pc to kind of compete directly against it. So i definitely stay tuned for the channel and subscribe.
