Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “🔴TRIPLE YOUR FIRESTICK INTERNET SPEED WITH 1 CLICK !”.
Now one of the most common questions I get asked is on my fire: stick or Fire TV or Fire TV Cube. Why is my Wi-Fi speeds just so slow here we can see on my second generation Fire TV Cube. My device is currently pulling down round about 117 Meg Downstream. Imagine you can make one quick change on your device to take your speeds from that to having speeds something a lot more like that guys so exact same device. We can see I’ve now more or less troubled, my download speeds.
So how can we do this? Well, the reason why many of us experience these slow issues on our devices is because we use a VPN Now using a VPN has many benefits. It protects your privacy, helps you stay anonymous online, use it to access geolock content. Now what that means is, for example, if I want to use an application like 2btv, let’s open that up, we can see on my device when I try to start the application in a couple of seconds. I get the error because 2btv does require you to have a USA IP address now the fix for that is when I just start my VPN, let’s make a quick connection to a server in Chicago, then I’ll explain exactly how this fixes the problem, but then how It completely cripples your download speeds, your browsing speeds, all of them are impacted. Okay, we’ve now made the connection, which means, when I now go back to 2btv, give that a second now because of my us IP address the application should load correctly and all of the content should now be available for me, and we can see it’s done exactly There now the trouble is anything I do on my device now because of that VPN is sending all of that traffic to Chicago, so whether I’m trying to download something on downloader. Let’S do that now.
Here, for example, I’m trying to do a test download and we can see on my device – it’s just very, very slow. So it’s already been about 5 seconds and it’s only pulled down about 30 Megs, so very, very slow all because my traffic is being forced to that server in Chicago. And, of course, if we do a speed test again, because all my traffic is being forced to that server in Chicago and we can see, it does severely, hamper or slow down my Wi-Fi speed test because I’m getting round about 95 Meg down. So how can we fix it? Really? The question is: how do we still achieve the VPN functionality of unlocking content but at the same time not slow down the rest of our device, not slow down the rest of our applications? How do we do that? Well, the way we do that is by using a feature called split tunneling. Now what the split tunnel does, as name implies is it creates a separate tunnel for the VPN traffic, but then everything else that you set can still go direct without going through the VPN. Now, the way we enable that is, if you open up your VPN and most premium vpns, will support this feature. You can go over to your settings. Let’S click on that and we can see here. Split tunneling so choose applications that can connect to the internet without using a VPN tunnel. So, for example, if I’m trying to download something through downloader, I don’t need to go through a VPN, because I know where I’m downloading from is safe or I’m not concerned about it.
Similarly other applications on my device, like maybe bbci player, I don’t need to use a VPN for that because I’m already in the UK again that will be a prime candidate to select for the split tunnel. So, let’s open that up – and this will now show you all of the applications installed on your device – you can literally just tick with one click which applications do you want to exclude from the VPN. So if I select user apps just to make it a bit quicker – and that’s it guys – this is the list of applications here, for example, is the speed test? So if I press the select button, I’m now saying do not use the speed test application through the VPN. So I keep going down. You got other applications there, for example. I don’t want to use it for bbci player, keep going down and let’s just do one more for a test – let’s say: downloader, okay, so those applications have now being excluded from the VPN. If I now press back now to apply the change, you’ll have to disconnect and reconnect from the VPN. Let me do that now. So, just disconnected, I’m now reconnecting I’ve now connected. Let’S now press the home button, let’s now: firstly, try that speed test and we were getting around about 95 Meg before and we can see now when I start this application already.
We can see that the Ping times are much better, so much lower latency and we can see in five four yep. We can see now guys easily troubled, our internet speed or our download speed just by enabling that split tunnel. That’S working great, let’s press home simly.
Let’S say I was trying to download something before: let’s try that download again and we can see now couple of seconds – we’ve already pull down 200 Meg of this uh Test movie. So that really is the quickest way you can get VPN functionality on your device, allowing you to unlock all of your favorite content but at the same time not impact everything else. So if I’m only using the VPN for one application, maybe the K application, maybe those third party streaming applications.
I can then whitel list or split T all the other applications ensuring those apps get maximum speed. They get all of my internet bandwidth and that really is the best of both worlds when using a VPN for your streaming application so really appreciate your support.
